Mongolian Shepherd's and their families have been living in Yurts for 1200 years. We and our guests find them very peaceful and very neat! Kids and parents love them. The domed ceilings make them very spacious. They are made of thick vinyl with 3 layers, an outside layer, insulation and an inside layer.
It has a fully stocked Kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, plates, gas stove top, microwave, coffeepot, etc.) Full baths, Living room with fold down Futon couch, 2 bedrooms, Air-Conditioning, Satellite TV, covered porches; fire/BBQ pit, picnic table and they are beautiful!

This is Lake Country. Comprised of 6,125 square miles and 14 counties in the heart of the Empire State, the Finger Lakes has 11 finger-shaped lakes plus numerous other lakes--both large and small--including Lake Ontario, one of the five Great Lakes. All of these lakes provide scores of recreational opportunities from boating to wind surfing to underwater diving. Carved thousands of years ago by receding glaciers, the stream-filled valleys of the Finger Lakes have countless gorges, including the Genesee River Gorge, one of the largest in the eastern United States, and nearly 750 waterfalls, including Taughannock Falls, the highest falls east of the Mississippi River. More than 100 miles of the Erie Canal spans the Finger Lakes and links boaters, bikers, and hikers to the entire 524-mile New York State Canal System.
And when you're done hiking, biking, birding, boating, ballooning, skiing, visiting a garden, or just enjoying the view, there are spas, museums, theatres, shops, fine restaurants, and nearly 100 wineries.

Further details indoors: We have a large 3-4 bedroom Lake house that can sleep up to 18 and Six adorable lakeside cottages and 2 really neat Yurts all sitting on 400 feet of Cayuga Lake Front.
We are located in the heart of the Fingerlakes and Seneca Wine Trails. There are 4 beautiful state parks within 12 miles of Kingtown Beach.
We give a 5% discount for multiple renting, ask about our family reunion discount.
The sweet town of Trumansburg offers 2 large grocery stores, 3 pizza parlors, a great Chinese food restaurant and 9 restaurants/bars most with live music. There are also 2 laundry mats, 2 movie rental stores, 2 pharmacies’, a hospital 8 miles away and more.
Check in is 4:30 PM, check out is 10AM. If the house or cottages were not used the prior night, call for earlier check-in availability.
*****Parties can be had while renting the lake house, but you must let us know in advance. As our septic system is only so big, you must rent a Port-a-John, they can be delivered right down to the lake front. Please call to discuss.
**We expect the Lake House, Cottages & Yurts to be left as clean and neat as found, except for towels and sheets, which we take care of.**
Yurts: We have 2 New Yurts. They have fully stocked kitchens, baths, living room with fold down Futon couch, 2 bedrooms, air conditioning Satellite TV, covered porches, fire/BBQ pit, picnic table and they are BEAUTIFUL! They are both $1000 per week or $275 per night with a 3 night minimum.
Refund Policy: After we have received a 50% deposit for your rental reservation and if you let us know that you will not be able to make the reservation in enough time to re-rent we will refund all but 10%. If we can not re-rent the same we will keep the 50% deposit.
Pet Policy: We welcome pets. We have a $50 per pet charge required with the deposit. Pets MUST NEVER BE LEFT ALONE. Dogs must always be leashed and picked up after.
Kingtown Beach Refund and Damage Policy: After we have received a 50% deposit for your rental reservation and if you let us know that you will not be able to make the reservation in enough time to re-rent we will refund all but 10% of your deposit. If we can not re-rent the same we will keep the 50% deposit.
