This elegant apartment is on the second floor of a historical building very near the beautiful Galata Tower. You can enjoy a view of the tower from one side of the living room bay window and a bit of sea view from the other side. The apartment is a two-bedroom apartment converted from three bedrooms. As a result, it offers a big space. It can accommodate up to six guests. Renovated in July 2009!

The Marmara Sea region
Istanbul is located in Marmara region of Turkey. In 40 minutes driving time from the apartment you can be swimming in one of the beautiful beaches on the black sea coast in summer time. In 2.5 hours driving time you can be skiiing in the mountains in winter time!
Istanbul / Taksim area
For hundreds of years Galata was a Genoese Colony, in the sense of settlement. Today Galata is a bohemian district that attracts artists, writers and intellectuals although most of the inhabitants are ordinary people. It's a real Istanbul neighbourhood with real people!
You could start the day with a lovely breakfast at home or in one of the nearby cafes, stylish or local, then you could head to the Cukurcuma area for antiques shopping. You could continue by visiting various art galleries and bookshops. For lunch, you might consider one of the cafe/restaurants located at Asmalimescit. They serve lovely home made food including many vegetarian options. In the afternoon, it might be a great idea to see the whirling dervishes at Galata Mevlevihanesi. After that, just before sunset, we'd recommend you to climb up to one of the most beautiful towers in the world: Galata Tower, a 13th century Genoese tower and see the 360 degree breath-taking view of Istanbul. If you are ready for an evening drink, you might either have your drink there or go to a trendy bar in Cihangir. If you are then ready for an interesting dinner, you could go to one of the meyhanes in "Nevizade". Raki, some meze and great atmosphere will satisfy even the most difficult to please ones. If you are not tired yet, Beyoglu night-life is just waiting for you. Feel free to choose one of many bars, nightclubs, cinemas or concert venues.
How to get there
We can arrange a transportation for you.
Also, airport shuttles run regularly between Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen airports and Taksim. From Taksim to the apartment the taxi fare will cost around 3-5 Euro.
If you would like to take a taxi from athe airport to the apartment, fare should be no more than 25 euros from Ataturk Airport and no more than 40 Euro from Sabiha Gokcen Airport .
