Home description

Quiet and peaceful located, not far from the nearest town Issoire, with the most beautiful roman church of the Auvergne.
The house has easy acces to all amenities, including local markest for bargain hunting, and many restaurants
in the surroundings for eating out.

The house is constructed against a hill, this means two flat floors and two gardens, but on different levels.
The style is very French.

The covered terrace with garden furniture and deck-chairs gives a complete and relaxed holiday feel.
Beautiful swimming pools (with jacuzzi) are free in use on the castle camping la Grange Fort at 3 km.
Also available on the campsite is a tennis court, sauna, pub, restaurant, snack and outdoor activities
(kanoe - kayak, horse riding, quad, MTB, tyrolienne, etc).

The Limousin / Auvergne / Puy-de-Dome region

This part of the Auvergne is well protected by the mountains on the west side. (Massif of the Mont dore) That's why the summers are dry and hot. There are ancient villages, historic cities, churches, castles and ruins in
surroundings where time seems to have stood still.
A wonderful diverse landscape with amongst others, two large reserves where you can enjoy the peace and quiet.

Issoire / Nonette area

Issoire, a pictoresque town with a historic town centre and a lively saturday's market is close by.
Not forgetting Nonette, a very old village with an old castle ruine. You can make beautiful pedestrian walks in and around Nonette and ofcourse you have to visit the top of Nonette (about 650m.)

How to get there

On the A75, take exit 13 and 1st roundabout direction Parentignat, 2nd roundabout to the right (D999), 3rd roundabout also to the right (D34), follow Nonette (still 3 km.).

SCHITTERENDE uitzicht. Prachtig, prachtig.
We gaan nooit voor een 2e maal naar dezelfde plek,
