Dalmore Cottage is in the small pictureesque village on the west side of the Isle of Lewis. The main town on the island, Stornoway, is 30 mins drive (24 miles). Dalmore Cottage is ideally situated for fishing, walking, bird-watching, surfing or simply relaxing in peaceful surroundings.

Situated in its own grounds a few minutes drive will take you to Dalmore Beach, very popular with surfers. A short drive will take you to the Callanish Stones, Doune Broch, Garenin Blackhouse Village, Harris Tweed factories and shops. Salmon and trout fishing also available nearby with advice on where to fish from a local ghillie.

Dalmore Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen which includes microwave, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. The sitting room has an open fire. There is also a tv with dvd and freeview. All rooms are centrally heated and double glazed. Percale linen, towels, heating and electricity are all included.

Fishing is available on trout lochs (advice available) and by arrangement salmon fishing on the islands' finest rivers, as well as tuition

"Very comfortable cottage"
