The Hebrides/Skye region
Situated off the west coast of the Scotland, The Outer Hebrides are famous for Caribbean-like turquoise seas and soft, white sand beaches. They are also home to amazing wildlife rare in other parts of the UK such as golden and sea eagles, otters, dolphins, basking sharks and red deer. The Isle of Lewis/Harris provides opportunities for acitvities such as Surfing, Paddleboarding, Kayaking, Canoeing and watersports. Hillwalking and rock climbing are popular pursuits in addition to wildlife and bird watching, boat trips provide the ideal opportunity to see rare bird and sealife in their natural habitat as well as visiting rare puffin colonies on uninhabited outlying islands such as the Shiant Islands and the Dual World Heritage site of St Kilda.
Isle of Lewis
The islands of Lewis/Harris are actually one land mass and the largest island in the Outer Hebrides. The islands are known for their mild climate, unspoilt beaches and breath taking scenery, making it an ideal holiday destination for couples looking for a relaxing and romantic break and active travellers looking for an activity break alike.
The Gulf Stream ensures these islands enjoy a mild climate all year round and in Winter rarely have snow due to mild temperatures and a Maritime climate.
