The Costa de la Luz / Huelva Province region

Costa de la Luz lies in the beautiful region of Andalucia , home of the Flamenco. It is also known as the Spanish Algarve with its white sandy beaches, clear ocean , beach dunes, pine forests and amazing golf courses .

Townhouses and villas with terra cotta rooftops,well kept green gardens and crystal pools make happy holidaymakers who gather in the summer to absorb the wonderful atmosphere. The Sun shines every day in Costa de la Luz.

With its rolling olive fields, picturesque villages and rugged sandy coves, the Costa de la Luz is a stunning spot for leaving the world behind. With some of the most idyllic beaches in the province, it's a paradise for windsurfers and sun worshippers alike.


Islantilla / Campo de Golf area

Islantilla is a perfect base for families,couples or friends who want to enjoy a fantastic holiday in this beautiful part of Spain with a fabulous beach with beach bars and restaurants ...children's play areas..water sports and a lovely promenade to stroll along or to sit and watch the world go by!
The old town of La Antilla is also a short drive or walk away.
Here you will find another beautiful beach with beach bars,.shops and restaurants where you can enjoy churros and hot chocolate or freshly made pastries for breakfast and fabulous freshly caught fish and seafood for lunch or dinner..we and many of our guests recommend the Nuevo Oceano where the Paella is second to none
In nearby Cartaya there is a fantastic water park and Go cart racing... Bowling in Lepe....Horse riding in Islantilla on the road to Lepe and lots more for you to discover.
Highly recommended are Zoomarine in Albefuria, where you can swim with dolphins and....Isla Magica about an hour away in Seville,(both an absolute must for a full day out ...children of all ages will love it.!!!!!....Both Zoomarine and Isla Magica have websites if you would like to see exactly whats on offer there.

IAn ideal location for golfing .....relaxing......walking.....touring and for visiting Spain and Portugal, and generally enjoying this beautiful area.
Seville by night......a tour of Tavira......or a stroll through Ayamonte.... you can even take a ferry from here to Portugal. Arecena is a lovely village where orange trees line the street ...with fabulous caves for you to visit.
We have lots of literature in the house with suggestions where to go but I am sure you will find many places of your own......Please leave suggestions of your favourites for other guests.

Islantilla has 2 modern shopping malls, the first is set by the beach . You can enjoy superb cuisine with inexpensive restaurants that overlook the ocean. Also there are of bars, shops, a supermarket and useful tourist information. Walk or cycle along the beach paths. The second shopping mall La Hacienda is within the golf resort area. These ´commercial centres´ as they are known in Spain take care of all your day to day needs. There is a Lidl in nearby Isla Cristina and many Hypermarkets in Lepe.(5-10 minutes away by car)
There are many festivals and fiestas where you can witness incredible sights.... flamenco dancers.....religous floats....children dressed in all sorts of costumes....you will certainly be enthralled and entertained.

The Islantilla Golf Club is probably the most beautiful in the whole of Andalucia region. The spectacular 27 Holes layout of Islantilla, are designed in the most pure Parkland Style within an enormous pine wood and with incredible sea views. These, together with its Pencross greens and Bermuda fairway, make it an interesting, high quality golf course. The golf course opened in 1992 and boasts a lovely colonial style clubhouse - and payable green fees.
The home of the 1996 Turespana Open, the golf course at Islantilla Golf Club is the most well-established course in the region. With three challenging 9 hole loops, the variety of golf available at Islantilla is vast.
The course varies from tight tree lined fairways with small, fast greens, to open views of the Huelva coastline with challenging shots over water to target greens.
Always in superb condition, the Islantilla Golf Course meanders through the pine trees and will lead you to believe you are the only golfers on the course.

Doñana National Park - The park, whose biodiversity is unique in Europe, contains a great variety of ecosystems and shelters wildlife including thousands of European and African migratory birds, fallow deer, Spanish red deer, wild boar, European badger, Egyptian mongoose, and endangered species such as the Spanish Imperial Eagle and Iberian Lynx.

This area of the Costa de la Luz has so much to offer it will truly make a holiday to remember for all!!!

The first floor has a lounge/dining room with patio doors opening onto a balcony containing 2 chairs and small table ideal for breakfasting in the sun!! The master bedroom also has access to this balcony and has fully fitted wardrobes. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a large 4 piece bathroom.
Stairs from the hall lead to the 2 second floor bedrooms each one a twin room with fitted wardrobes and access to the large upper terrace.
This overlooks the golf course and pool and is complete with 6 sun loungers , a dining table , 6 chairs and barbecue , ideal for relaxation or al fresco eating
There is also another large 4 piece bathroom on this level.
Air conditioning to all rooms which also converts to central heating for winter stays.
It is ideal for 2 families as they can have their own space due to the 2 floors and 2 separate bathrooms

Our property overlooks the pool and the 7th hole of the superb 27 hole golf course which hosted the 1992 Spanish Open with Sevi Ballisteros.
There are paddle courts and a children's play area.
There is allocated secure underground parking and a lift up to the property.
