Electricity is generated by solar power 12 V. Running cold water from a water tank - total capacity 15.000 l regular water - is installed in the kitchen and the bathroom. The outside shower has a black boiler - it warms up the water by the warmth of the sun. The electric power and water should be used here sparingly. The water in the tank is originally tap water, but as it is staying in the tank in hot weather, we recommend it to be boiled before drinking, or that the users of accommodation would purchase bottled water for drinking.
Water supplies of these houses are from a private tank that each of the houses own. Water is transported to the houses by special ships, and is considered to be of great value. The capacity of the tank is not on disposal of one group of guests, but it should last for most, if not all, of the summer. Therefore, economizing with water is obligatory. Out of the same reason, there are no discounts or free stays for children of any age, as it is considered that children need even more water then adults.
The kitchen has a refrigerator and a gas stove. Bed linen and kitchen towels are prepared for you, bathroom and beach towels please bring your own. Fresh bed linen and kitchen towels arrives once a week.
Minimum stay is 7 days, from Saturday to Saturday only.

About this location
The Zadar County region

The island of Zizanj is divided with a narrow chanell from the island of Pasman.
The island of Pasman belongs to the Zadar island group, and is connected to the island of Ugljan by a bridge over the Zdrelac straits, while ferryboat lines connect it to Zadar and Biograd. The Pasman Channel lies between the island and the mainland. The sea currents in this area change direction every 6 hours, thus making the waters here among the cleanest in the entire Adriatic. The Pasman island's well-preserved landscape contains many species of medicinal and aromatic herbs, vineyards, fields and olive groves, as well as numerous sand and gravel beaches, making it a true choice for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life in more populated areas, while its inlets, islets and rich undersea life make it a true challeng for divers and sport fishermen. Biking and hiking routs are cutting through the hilly inland of the island of Pasman.
Mediterranean climate is responsible for the growth of rich flora and fauna, many species of medicinal and aromatic plants and also the submarine world hides all kinds of shells and fish of the Croatian Adriatic, it is very rich with various kinds of shells and fish.
