Unique two storey building, which can be used as a whole (with external staircase) or as two separate apartments. The upper apartment is better furnished and has better views so the rent is a little higher , the lower is basic but very comfortable.
If you're looking for a quiet peaceful place to get away from it all then you've found it! The views from the terrace are absolutely stunning, and the silence is broken only by the occasion 'put put' from a local fishing boat bringing home it's catch!
The main attractions of the location are the views, the peace and tranquility both in the apartment itself and in the surrounding area, the absolute clarity of the sea, inviting long leisurely days swimming and sunbathing. The proximity of Split, with its rich culture and history being a short ferry ride away.
Excursions by ferry to other parts of the area leave from the local harbour every morning.

Villa Morski Vuk is actually two separate apartments, much like a maisonette but with an external staircase.
This offers an excellent choice for two families holidaying together.
The upper apartment has more modern equipment, including a dishwasher and satellite television, whereas the lower apartment is furnished much as any local might have it; that is simply and effectively.
The lower apartment has a washing machine, but a laundry service is available to all guests by arrangement.
The ground floor apartment is 40m2, with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and lounge/dining area.
A large patio enables you to dine out 'Al Fresco' and gaze across the beautiful bay.
The 1st floor apartment is slightly larger at 50m2, and is equipped to a higher standard.
There is a stylish, modern kitchen, lounge/dining area with Hi-Fi and satellite TV, two double bedrooms, (one double bed and two singles which can be arranged as a further double), a sofabed and a great balcony/terrace/garden/barbecue area which has fantastic views across the bay and beyond to the old Roman town of Split.

The house sits in its' own small private garden with a brick-built BBQ.
It is situated on a quiet street just up the hill from the harbour, with its associated attractions.
There is a children's Lido in the bay. It's not visible from the apartments but is only a 10 minute walk around the corner. This is part of a school holiday camp but is open for free use of allcomers.
There is a tourist office in the harbour where you can buy excursions to just about all of the many interesting places in the vicinity of Dalmatia, including Dubrovnik although this is a long day!

The Dalmatia region


The Dalmatian region offers a wealth of history and culture. The city of Split is built around an ancient Dioclesian Palace, the bulk of which is still in use today as apartments, businesses, museums and art galleries.
There is a market in the centre of town where one can buy any number of goods, including fresh fish and farm produce, with not a vacuum pack in sight!
The Island of Solta area
Solta offers nothing more than quiet, rural simplicity, beautifully clear water and excellent local food.
Daily excursion by boat can be made to all of the other interesting places in the region, with the benefit of returning to your own quiet haven at the end of the day.
Local restaurants are simple but serve exquisite fresh food, usually locally grown and organic.

Solta is a small and very peaceful island just off the coast from the stunning Roman town of Split.
Several budget airline go there (Easyjet and Wizzair being the most popular), as well as several major National carriers, (British Airways and Croatian Airlines being the largest).
The Airport is situated about 20km to the North of the City, and regular and cheap bus transfers meet every flight.
These buses drop you at the ferry terminal which is right in the heart of the city, and where you can catch regular ferries to all of Dalmatia's stunning islands.

The marina at Trogir is a 5 minute taxi ride away, where you can access charter boats and high speed taxis direct to the islands.

Nice and very quite and with a lovely view from the terace. Lovely beaches within walking distance. Good swimmingskils needed as you have to jump in the sea at most beaches. The water is so clear that you can not beleave it. |
