Villa Maruka is a traditional Dalmatian stone house from the 19th century newly renovated into a luxury villa for 6 - 7 persons. It is situated in the peaceful old centre of the village Mirca, perfect for families looking for relaxation and a slowdown in an authentic island location.
The villa consists of 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and living room with a fireplace, mini-bar and a TV set. In the forecourt of the villa is a swimming pool with a hydro massage bench and attractive outside dining area with BBQ, covered with the authentic stone roof. A sundeck is positioned to capture the best views of the sea and Dalmatian coast.
The nearest beach is only 800 meters far from the villa and the nearby town of Supetar with its cafes, bars, restaurants and shops is within 10 minutes drive.

Villa Maruka has just over 120 m2 of the interior. On the ground floor there is a lounge/dinner area with TV and a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate toilet/guest cloakroom, small laundry room, and one double bedroom with a big bathroom en suite and a terrace door leading out onto a side terrace. From the lounge a grand staircase leads to the first floor which contains a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and one bathroom. There is one more shower room next to the outdoor eating area with BBQ. Each room has SAT TV, air conditioning and a safe.

The price includes use of linen, electricity, hot and cold water, every day cleaning, final cleaning, garden and pool maintenance, daily towel change, linen change two times a week. Guests have on disposal USB modem for mobile internet receiving UMTS signal. The use of the internet is free of additional charges up to 1 GB of data traffic per week.

Conditions
MINIMUM STAY:
• 4.6. - 16.9.2011 - 7 days, arrival/departure Saturdays
• Other months – 3 days, arrival/departure any day
SECURITY DEPOSIT is €300 and it is collected at the arrival in cash. The amount is returned at check out, after the inspection of the villa. In case of damages or breakages in the villa caused by the guests, the cost will be deducted from the security deposit.
PAYMENT: 30% advanced payment at the time of booking and the rest one month prior the arrival date via bank transfer or online by credit cards MasterCard, Maestro or Visa.
All additional services payable on site can be paid only in cash to the villa manager. We cannot accept credit cards!

The Island of Brac / Mirca area
Villa Maruka is situated in the old centre of the village Mirca, 3km west from Supetar, which is the port for ferries connecting the island Brac with Split. This part of Mirca still has the authentic soul of an old island village. It still has stone houses, narrow streets, and the time you spend here passes more slowly and peacefully. The village is surrounded by old olive trees, orchards and abandoned fields with interesting hiking/biking routs.
The villa is handily placed for exploring the island of Brac and its charming seaside towns, hidden beaches and a beautiful unspoiled nature. One can also take the ferry beck to Split for one day shopping and sightseeing in the Split old town formed in the magnificent 1700 years old Roman palace.

My Husband, Myself and 3 children (age 7,8 and10) could not praise the service and standards enough that we received whist staying at Villa Maruka. We were greeted by Sanja the Villa Manager who throughout our stay catered to our needs, from arranging a fishing-trip to booking restaurants. The house and pool itself was faultless, furnished to a very high standard, with nice litlle touches like fresh flowers, fruit delivered by Sanja from her own garden to a well stocked mini-bar. The house was light and airy and of course the air-conditioning was great! We travelled to the Golden Horn beach at Bol which took about 45 minutes, but well worth the trip. There was a great fish market in Supetar and an abundance of shops and restaurants. We also visited the beautiful town of Milna which the drive itself gave you stunning views of the island and those surrounding it. |

The accomodation was so much more than any photo could show you. The service that we received was 1st grade. We would return tomorrow if we were able. A real home away from home with everything you require to make your holiday unforgettable....... All the amenties are beautifully cared for, and the pool is an added bonus if the weather is as fantastic as we enjoyed. I would recommend this as your base if you are looking at visiting the Island of Brac. The people, the area are amazing....... |

-"We stayed at Villa Maruka in June this year and enjoyed lovely Brac, Mirca and the villa itself very much. The villa was spotless, pretty and extremely comfortable. We had to tear ourselves away from the gorgeous poolside to see some of the rest of the Island. Situated up on the hill in Mirca you really feel like you've stepped back in time with the stone village surroundings and surely some of the best views in the adriatic.. Sanja is an exceptional host who was always only a few minutes away if needed and gave us great ideas of what to do around the island. We can recommend hiring a car or scooter while staying here as its the best way to see the island. Bol beach on the otherside of the island is gorgeous and the boys really enjoyed Ziza the lamb restaurant about 7km outside of supetar.
