"Incredible time on an stunning island and a luxurious villa"
We stayed in Villa Gumonca which is located on the Island of Brac. The island itself is easy to get to, being an hour away by ferry from the ferry port in Split. Ferries run from 7am till midnight, making it very accessible with a car (although it is essential to have one).
The villa is about 15 mins drive away from the ferry port in Supetar and Sanja (the manager) was there to let us in despite arriving fairly late, and show us around the Villa. The next morning, she gave us all the options on what to do around the island, how long everything takes and offered to sort out sailing to Hvar at very short notice. The village of Mirca has a handful of houses with little around, allowing you to relax in peace. There is a Tommy supermarket on the entry to Supetar which has everything you will need for the stay.
The Villa itself is incredibly spacious, and very well equipped with pretty much everything one could imagine. View from the room on the first floor (which has a Jacuzzi) is stunning in the morning and evening. There is an incredible infinity pool in the back, along side a BBQ, sun loungers and large table capable of seating 10 people. We ended up playing table tennis whilst having a BBQ. The pool looks onto the garden (which has fruit and veg, which we were lucky enough to sample) beyond which is a stunning (albeit pebbly) beach about 2 minutes walk away. There is an internet connection throughout the villa. All the rooms are very spacious with double beds and have an en-suite which include all amenities. The villa was cleaned every day with all linen replaced which again wasn't expected.
Can't fault the villa, the island or the excellent hospitality which Sanja showed us. I don't think anyone wanted to leave by the end of it.

"Incredible! Would Go Back in a Heartbeat!!!"
We arrived late at night on the Island of Brac via a Jadrolinija ferry departing from Split. Sanja, the property manager, met us at the villa, with a huge welcoming smile. She kindly explained the property to us, even though she was on her way, she still took the time welcome us and go through all the details.
The house itself was impeccable. We couldn't imagine that it could be even more beautiful than that of what we saw in the pictures.
It was humongous, with a master bedroom, ensuite (with a jacuzzi), a beautiful and very large terrace on the top floor, with a gorgeous modern kitchen, dining room and living room, and three bedrooms (with ensuites) on the main floor.
The most beautiful part of the villa was the outdoor space, with plenty of sun loungers, great views, a stunning infinity pool, a fantastic shaded area with a large table for our group, and a second, smaller house, with it's own bedroom, kitchen, living room (which can double as a sleeping space) and two bathrooms.
Needless to say, there was plenty of space for all of us, it was impeccably clean, and we were really impressed with the cleaning service each day. Similar to a hotel, a lady would tidy the beds, bathrooms, and the floors each day, while we were all busy enjoying the rays outside.
The beach was mere meters away, with a large pebbled area, as well as a pier which resulted in a lot of fun hours of jumping into the warm Adriatic sea.
We also loved the location of the villa, which was only a few minutes away form the ferry port and from town and all of it's amenities. We really loved that we were so close to grocery stores (there are several large supermarkets nearby), and so close to the ferry port so that we could easily travel to the mainland to visit all the treasures there.
For most of our stay, we remained on the island, enjoying our time at the villa and our time in Brac. The island has so much to offer, that we only wish we could have had more time at Villa Gumonca and would probably return for a much longer stay next time.
We ran into a few issues while at the house, but before we could even call Sanja, it seemed like she had a team ready at the villa to fix whatever the problem was.
The house is an environmentally friendly home, thus most of the water being heated through solar panels, which were either turned off, resulting in no hot water. We also had some issues with the internet, but we were impressed at how quickly all of these were resolved, seeming as if the issues were not there to begin with.
We really think that Sanja and her team offered us superior customer service, from the moment we arrived at Villa Gumonca, until the day of our departure.
Everything was truly perfect and we are so happy that we chose this property for our special trip and to celebrate our recent marriage.
Sanja and the rest of the VG team - Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!
(Other specific positives: extremely comfortable & large beds & bedding, ample kitchen supplies such as cups, plates, cutlery, cookware, plenty of towels and basic housewares, quick and effortless services with all concerns, easy booking and communication in months prior to arrival, easy payment process, fantastic location on the island and accessibility to mainland, and most importantly, a tremendous value for money.)
