Moro House is in the heart of the harbor village of Milna, on the island of Brac, just 45 minutes from Split. Milna is alive with yachts coming and going, harborside restaurants and cafes and timeless village life.
Over 200 years old, Moro House is one of the oldest homes in Milna, owned by one of the oldest families in Milna. The house has been lovingly renovated by the family, preserving the hand crafted stone walls and furnished in “country French” style, with Provence blue tiling in the bathrooms and antique furniture throughout.
The beautiful stonework, inside and out, creates country comfort in the heart of the village. Dine on the cosy terrace and enjoy village life or stroll to the harbor and relax in one of the many cafes. Have morning coffee on your balcony, visit the fresh farmer’s market or buy fish for an evening BBQ directly off the local fishing boats. Swimming in the clear Adriatic is just a 10 minute walk away. Or explore some of the many bays surrounding the village by boat, bicycle or walking.

DUBOKA BAY and MILNA HARBOR
Villa Galleria is in Duboka Bay, one of the most desirable locations on the Adriatic. Protected and secluded, the bay is a well kept secret even today. Experience the best of island life at Duboka - relax in the sun, enjoy the lovely view of nearby islands and watch the sailboats, yachts and island boats pass by. Scuba diving is available in the village as well as rafting trips, parasailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding and other water activities on the island.
Milna Harbor, just 2 km from the villa, comes alive in the spring and summer with yachts from all over the world. Local olive oil, wine and port tastings are a must in the village. Visit the local vegetable and fruit market, bakery and wine cellar and buy your fresh fish directly off the fishing boats in the morning.
Open air cafes line the harbor and the local restaurants serve Dalmatian specialties including Brac lamb, local grilled fish and peka made in traditional stone ovens.
Milna Harbor is the bay of a thousand ships - safe harbor to ships large and small for over 400 years. One of the original coastal villages on Brac, Milna has always been a centre of culture and commerce. How to get there
The best way to get to Villa Milna is the Jadrolinija Ferry from the Split Ferry Port.
The ferry port on Brac, Supetar, is just 45 minutes from the mainland (25 minutes by private power boat).
The village is a 20 minute drive along the coast, through the olive fields and one of the oldest villages on Brac.
Taxis are plentiful at the ferry port and airport, or we can arrange to have one waiting for you.
You can rent a car at the Split airport or on the island of Brac in Supetar.

We will send you directions from the Split airport to the village of Milna on Brac
You will be personally met in the village and guided to Moro House.
Moro House has stocked kitchen items on arrival such as herbs and spices, sugar, tea, coffee and other staples
A welcome basket is included with local specialties including a bottle of Croatian wine, local olive oil, and map of Brac
Utilities included for air conditioning, water, gas and electricity
Guests are asked for a refundable €500 deposit at check-in. The deposit is returned at the end of the stay if the villa is left in good condition and there is no breakage or damage to in the indoors or outdoors.
