The Dalmatia region

Island of Brac area

The villa is located on Brac Island being a 40 minute car ferry ride from Split and then a 40 minute drive to the villa. The villa is 5 minutes drive to the nearest fishing village of Sumartin where you will find a bakery, supermarket and three restaurants and a number of cafe bars. The coffee culture is very strong in Croatia. The village of Selca is also five minutes away which has beautiful architecture, small shops and cafe bars as well as a few restaurants. A half hour car ferry ride will take you from Sumartin to the sophisticated town of Makarska, there you will find divine architecture and many designer shops as well as fine restaurants.

The villa is entered through the middle level were you will find three bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as the entertainment room and three terraces. The top floor penthouse has two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is also a full kitchen (most people never use this as they all eat together on the main terrace downstairs) and sitting area as well as two terraces. On the ground floor you will find two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main kitchen and dining room are on this level as well as the covered terrace for alfresco dining.

Being right on the Adriatic Sea the villa lends itself to many activities such as water skiing, scuba diving, fishing and sailing, all of which can be arranged by the villa managers who are available for up to eight hours per day. A half hour car ferry ride will take you to the sophisticated town of Makarska, there you will find divine architecture and many designer shops as well as fine restaurants.

Further details outdoors:
Outdoor terraces give plenty of space for relaxing. From one terrace there are 5 steps to another set of terraces, one of which has a Jacuzzi, another with a hammock. You can also enjoy walking straight into the Adriatic Sea as there are steps right into the crystal waters. There is also a buoy available to tie up a boat. (Hire can be arranged by the staff at the villa).
