The small town is well served by several very good restaurants specialising in freshly caught fish representing very good value for money. You will also find several bars where tourists can mix with the local population.
Sutivan has two well stocked mini-supermarkets as well as a bakery & large stall selling fresh fruit & vegetables on most days. There are various small stoned beaches providing opportunities to swim in the crystal clear sea with several areas partitioned off exclusively for the use of bathers. From the harbour you can take various excursions by boat including visits to Hvar Town on the renowned neighbouring island of Hvar & there is also a Scuba Diving Centre on the quayside for those interested. Tourist areas such as Bol, Milna and Supetar are all within easy reach by car.

How to get there
Split is served by 3 airlines that fly from London Gatwick and London Heathrow airports; British Airways, Croatia Airlines & Easyjet.
Upon arrival at Split airport you have several options to complete your journey onwards to your holiday island destination of Brac. There is a regular bus service run by Croatia Airlines with boarding immediately outside the Terminal building costing just £3 each way – this bus takes approx 25 mins to deliver you directly to the ferry terminal. The alternatives are Taxi (approx £20.00) or you may decide to hire a car for the duration of the holiday, all the major car rental companies operate out of Split airport. You can also hire a car on the island of Brac
A very regular and modern ferry service operates between Split and the island of Brac. If you cross as a foot passenger the fare is just £2.50 per person each way. If you have hired a car the cost is approximately £16.00 each way. The ferry journey takes approx 1 hour and is a very pleasant journey.
Upon arrival at the Brac port of Supetar you will find taxis waiting. The distance from Supetar to your holiday destination is approx only 4 miles and the journey is only 10 minutes.
If you hired a car in Split or upon arrival at Supetar then upon leaving the town you follow the signs to SUTIVAN. At the first roundabout you go straight on up the hill in the direction of SUTIVAN. After approximately ¼ of a mile the road forks; follow the road to the right signposted SUTIVAN. Continue along this road for approx 3.5 miles, you will quickly come to Sutivan which is signposted. Immediately after the Sutivan sign turn right down the hill. Approximately 200 metres down the hill you will come to a house on your left hand side. As soon as you are past the house turn left. This takes you down a fairly narrow residential street with houses on both sides. Stay on this road for approx ¼ of a mile, the road is quite narrow and you will eventually come to a stop sign at a very small crossroads, proceed very carefully over the crossroads up a narrow track – the track leads you to your holiday destination Bellevue Apartments.
Your apartment is Number 2 which is on the 1st floor. There are two apartment blocks, No 2 is in the apartment block on your right hand side. As you walk up the pathway between the apartments you will come to a stone staircase on your right hand-side. Go up the stairs, at the top of the first flight of steps you will find your apartment on the left hand side.

Further details indoors: Apartment was completed in August 2006 by a local builder who has retained an apartment for his own use. With double bedroom & spacious twin bedded room the apartment comfortably sleeps 4 adults & is furnished to a high standard with a fully fitted kitchen featuring large fridge freezer, microwave oven & electric cooker with 4 ring hob + oven. The bathroom has bath, shower & automatic washing machine. Each bedroom has large wardrobes with plenty of hanging space & shelves for clothes. The hallway contains further space for hanging & storing clothes with the inclusion of fitted wardrobes. Living area has a comfortable seating area with satellite TV giving access to BBC World 24 and Sky News. From the dining/kitchen area featuring dining table & 4 chairs there is access to the balcony which enjoys sunshine for much of the day. Balcony also has dining table & 4 chairs for al-fresco dining with superb views over the town, Adriatic Sea & Mainland Croatia/ Split in the distance.
Conditions
A deposit of 20% for the rental of the apartment will be required on booking, coupled with a final balance payment 6 weeks prior to the occupancy and an additional security deposit of £100 - which is payable to cover loss of Apartment Keys, breakages etc. This will be returned in full within 10 working days after the end of the rental period. Prices are in Great British Pounds - the equivalent amount in Euros is based on the rate of exchange at the time of booking.
