Over 200 years old, Harbor House/Moro House is one of the oldest homes in Milna, lovingly renovated by the family. The original hand crafted stone walls are preserved and the villa furnished in “country French' style, with Provence blue tiling in the bathrooms and antique furniture throughout.
The beautiful stonework, inside and out, creates country comfort in the heart of the village. Dine on the cozy terrace and enjoy village life or stroll to the harbor and relax in one of the many harborside restaurants. Have morning coffee on your balcony, visit the fresh farmer's market or buy fish for an evening BBQ directly off the local fishing boats. Swimming in the clear Adriatic is just a 10 minute walk away. Or explore some of the many bays surrounding the village by boat, bicycle or walking.

In MIlna you can rent bicycles, arrange a day or evening sail, scuba diving or take the catamaran to Split for the day. Villa is in a small village on island of Brac. Not too difficult to get to via ferry. Key pick up was easy and the woman was pleasant, helpful and friendly. The villa is well maintained and has a nice ambience. It is in a quiet location just a one minute walk to harbour, shops and restaurants. Village and harbour are very quiet not many shops or restaurants. Not a lot of grocery selection. Not much to do so if you are looking to keep busy this is not the place for you. If you want to relax in a quiet, peaceful, tranquil environment, this is it. Beautiful harbour and seaside! Quaint village. At villa, small above ground pool but in a nice setting. Separate to the villa so didn't have to worry about children escaping out into it. No internet but that was actually nice as it added to the relaxation. Kitchen well equipped although some appliances/pots and pans getting a bit old. Bathrooms were fine. Villa was clean. Owner is lovely and very helpful. All in all we had a wonderful and very relaxing week at this villa and would return again. |

We booked the villa as it had a private pool. On arriving in Milna we were met by the owner's son who showed us where to park & took us to the villa. We did not expect to have to carry our cases up so many steps & fortunately on leaving, the owner, Vlatka, kindly took our cases by car to the harbour where we had parked. The family are very friendly & Vlatka speaks good English. The villa is well equipped & having a washing machine was really useful. On the down side, the shower room upstairs is very small & some noise from the town below could be heard during the day & in the evening. The path up to the pool is really uneven & difficult to walk on. The sun beds were not comfortable & only a small area for sunbathing. We were looking forward to a peaceful, relaxing holiday and this villa was not really suitable for us. |
