Bel Mare is located 15 mn away from a secluded flat stones spot for swimming in the turquoise sea or a 20 mn ride on a bicycle to the beach .
Beautifully wild and serene Lopud is part of the Elephidi islands just 40 min away from lively Dubrovnik. The island offers basic amenities and fresh fish restaurants. Everything is walking distance as no engines are allowed on the island. You can visit the beautiful monastery in the town or take a fisherman's boat to spend the day on the sea.
The house has been renovated and designed by architects and offers luxurious equipment as well two sets of bed linens per room and designer beach towels. No phones or TV in the house but possibility of wi fi connection and hi fi system.
The house has a stunning view from its terrace overlooking the bay and the sea. It is ideal for friends or couples looking to chill out and get away from over crowded summer spots. Evenings are cool thanks to the island breeze. The house offers the possibility of hosting a single friend on the mezzanine .

The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region
Dubrovnik is the venice of the calmatian coast, worth visiting and offering lovely night spots for the occasional night out. The historic centre is worth visiting and just before jumping on the ferry back to Lopud you can stop at the local market (every morning) at the port for some fresh shopping to grill on your barbecue. The island has an amazing franciscan monastery open to visitors and being renovated. It is definitely worth taking a look.
Island Lopud area
Around Lopud you can visit with the local ferry the neighbouring island of Sipan for great historical spotting and other Elefidi islands. The climate is ideal , warm and sunny during the day and cool at night allowing you to dine al fresco, on the house terrace or at the two frsh fish local restaurants on the island. Nothing better than grilled fresh fish after a day chilling out in front of the sea!
The island is great for summer walks at sunset and having a drink on the port. There are local tennis courts you only need to book them in advance. You can also rent bycicles and ride on the other side of the island to the beach area
How to get there
Direct flights to Dubrovnik from all over Europe with Croatia Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Europe, Air One .Once at the airport taxi straight to 30 min Dubrovnik port. Take local ferries from Dubrovnik port to Lopud Island.only 40 min

Strictly no smoking except on the balcony. and sorry no pets allowed. Refundable breakages deposit of 500 euros required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). 50% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking. Property not suitable for children under 10. There are quite some steps to access the house so it is not recommended for elderly persons or physically impaired persons.
