This 2 bed, 2 bath villa is on the resort of Mojon Hills, close to the village of Isla Plana. Set in the heart of the Mojon Hills complex, with stunning views to the sea.

The accommodation comprises an open plan living and dining area with two large sofas, one being a double sofa bed, cotbed available, flat screen TV, DVD and Satellite Television for English TV, Playstation 2, Ipod and an IPod Docking Station. There are French windows with views to the sea. The dining area has a patio table set for an option to eat outdoors and enjoy the sun and scenery together with an outdoor built in BBQ. Wi-Fi is available for a small charge.

There is a separate modern kitchen with fitted white goods and has everything needed for self catering breaks. However, the bars and restaurants of Isla Plana are just a short stroll away if cooking is not on the agenda!

There is a main double bedroom with en-suite shower room, fitted wardrobes and a view over the front garden, whilst the second bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and sea views. There is also extra room for 2 persons sleeping on the double sofa bed in the living area. The villa will sleep up to 6 persons.

There is a second bathroom with WC and shower room in addition.

Externally, there is a front patio area laid to tiles and shingle surround with space for dining outside as well as a rear tiled garden with sea views. Stairs lead to the upper solarium, where there is also space to sunbathe in privacy. There is also a drive offering off road parking for two compact cars. The villa is located close to the communal pool, where residents of the complex can enjoy a cooling dip and escape from the heat. The upper solarium overlooks the resort and has stunning sea views.

Mojon Hills is a new resort close to the beaches of Isla Plana. The village itself has a bakery, fishmongers and general store, plus several bars and restaurants. In high season beach bars operate at Playa La Isla and La Azohia. The bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance. It has over 300 days of sunshine a year and has a Spanish climate all of its own. Winter months are usually around 22-25 degrees while the height of the summer is between 30-36 degrees.

Just 5 minutes drive away is the resort of Puerto de Mazarrón, with a larger selection of bars and entertainment for both young and old, scuba diving, sailing and more. The lovely new marina here is well worth a visit.

For the majority of the year you will have the communal pool to yourselves as most people use the nearby beaches - the only time it can be a little busy (where 2 or 3 more families make use of it is end of July/August during the school summer holidays)

Other: Roof Sun Terrace and with private shower, sun loungers/beach chairs with a table and eight chairs and separate ground floor patio with relaxed patio garden with sofa, chairs and patio table and an outdoor fitted BBQ. Use to the private communal pool used by residents only

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: Towels and linen are provided, (not beach towels or cotbed linen) the beds will be made for when you arrive at the villa. The washing machine allows you to freshen up the towels and linen as often as required. This is included in your 70 euros hand over cleaning.

The villa is loacted on a headland position overlooking Mazarron Bay which boasts a superb new marina as well as an excellent slection of bars and restaurants.

There is a playpark on the development for children to use.

Although the beaches are only a ten minute walk away from the villa, the town of Puerto Mazarron which contains most of the local amenities is a 25 minute walk so a car is advisable.

Alternatively Cartegena is a 25 minute drive by car through some of the most breathtaking countryside you are likely to see in southern Spain.

The Murcia region

Murcia region boasts 320 days of sunshine per year and has one of the healthiest climates in Europe.

Cartagena is the next nearest large town where you will find again lots of Roman places of history, bull ring, Marina and busy port area as well as shopping complexes, cinemas and casinos.

Murcia is a mixture of many different cultures over the years with the Moors and Roamans having the biggest influence. The archetechture is stunning with many historical buildings and castles. Murcia also has the nearest water park and zoo worth a day trip.

Isla Plana

The larger town of Puerto de Mazarron is where there are a larger range of restaurants and bars with many differing nationalities along side the typical Spanish tapas and fish restaurants. The new marina has a few late night disco bars and a karioke bar that stays open until you leave. You can also get local boat trips, learn to scuba dive or snorkel and have a go at many other water sports.

Isla Plana is a quiet fishing village most of the year however during the summer season its transformed by beach concerts, marocan markets and bazars. There are a few restaurants and bars all with great sea views and only minutes walk from the villa. There are also some local shops where you can get your daily requirements.

"Clean, Modern Villa in lovely surroundings!"

We stayed at the Villa in El Mojon with our friends who have the same aged children as us, two 3 year olds and two babies under 5 months. There was plenty of space for all, especially in the kitchen for all the babies bits! The outside area makes the villa - the BBQ and seating area along with the upstairs solarium are lovely. We didn't get to use it much with 4 young children and spent most of our days around the lovely pool - infact we had it to ourselves most days which was even better! Everything is a short cab ride away and the owners have made sure that all information for local bars and restaurants are available in the villa, including lealets for days out, villa information and taxi numbers! I would definately reccommend staying here again if you would like a peaceful week away, yet so much only a short distance away! Can't wait to go back!

"Great holiday - fantastic villa"

Myself, my husband, our two children and my sister and her two children stayed at this villa last year. The villa is large, very clean and very well equiped. We stayed for a week and had a great time. The pool area is lovely and often quiet so sometimes had whole pool to ourselves. We would definitely stay at the villa again but next time we would hire a car as it is a car/taxi journey to most places although taxi fares are very reasonble.
