Enjoy a banquet in style in your own private dining hall, a champagne reception in the grand drawing room with its incredible stone fireplace and French doors leading out onto the terrace and garden or just relax and unwind in the elegant living room. The interior displays many period features including studded wooden doors, original wood flooring and leaded windows alongside more modern conveniences such SKY TV and DVD/video players in the drawing room, living room, kitchen/breakfast room and master bedroom, newly fitted modern bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. On the first floor you will find the master bedroom suite with king size four poster bed, large en-suite bathroom and views to the garden, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, two further twin bedded rooms, and a family bathroom. The left wing of the hall enjoys a large first floor balcony with splendid views of the garden and valley beyond. The top floor has three twin bedded rooms with garden views, as well as a family bedroom suite giving a further two bedrooms with twin beds. There is a family bathroom on this floor. The spectacular grounds span some 3 acres and have many areas of interest including open lawn, a large stone paved terrace with garden furniture, gently sloping gardens and shady woodland copses, a magical place to unwind and take in the surroundings.

Situated on the outskirts of Claydon village, Mockbeggars Hall is ideally located to explore some of rural Suffolk's attractions including the National Trust owned Thorington Hall in Stoke by Nayland, 11 miles south and Flatford Bridge Cottage and Mill, in the beautiful Dedham Vale - the location of John Constable's famous painting 'The Haywain'.
Ipswich / Claydon area
Charming rural villages including Barham, Akenham and Bramford provide lovely locations for country side walking and just a 4 mile journey will take you into Ipswich Town, well known for its football club, Christchurch mansion, museum and high street shopping. There is a park and ride service into Ipswich Town approximately 1.5 miles from Mockbeggars Hall in Bury Road (IP1 5QP). The historic town of Woodbridge is just a 9 mile journey east where you will find much to do especially if you have an interest in sailing and enjoy river walking and the castle town of Framlingham is just 13 miles to the north. Close by golf courses include Fynn Valley, 3 miles and Hintlesham Hall which is just 4 miles away. Also at Hintlesham Hall you can enjoy one of the regions finest restaurants and take advantage of the extensive beauty treatment menu in the private health club.

From A14 heading North exit at junction 52 and proceed to roundabout. Take first exit at roundabout: Paper Mill Lane. Follow road for 1 mile and you will see sign for Mockbeggars Hall on your left, follow track and you will come to the Hall on your right.
