Westercraigs is modern and well equipped with large windows that let the light into the accommodation. It offers an ideal base for outdoor activities as well as being a retreat for those wanting to relax and enjoy reading in peaceful surroundings.

Living Area

The apartment has an open-plan living room and kitchen area. The living room has a wall mounted television and a DVD Player. There is leather settee, two easy chairs, a dining table with four chairs, a rug and a set of shelves (handy for storing games, books and toys).

The kitchen area comes equipped with an oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and an espresso coffee maker.

Off the living area there is a WC with a wash hand basin.

Bedroom 1

This has a double bed, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobe and a blanket box. There is also an en-suite which has a shower, WC and wash hand basin.

General

There is a large hall cupboard and the apartment has the use of communal landscaped grounds.

You will find on arrival a starter supply of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and other kitchen and bathroom supplies.

Booking terms

The first nights rental will be charged on the day of booking to confirm your booking. The final balance will be due 5 days before arrival. Once a booking is made you will be liable for the full cost of the rental however from the time the booking is placed you have 24 hours to change your mind and cancel the booking and you will receive a full refund (less any card processing fees already paid). Key collection is available locally, details are sent by email as part of receipt of payment of the final balance. Full terms of rental can be viewed and printed off as part of the booking process. We strongly recommend that you use holiday cancellation insurance to cover the cost of your rental should, due to any unforeseen event, you have to cancel your booking.

Check in time is at any time after 16:00 and check out time is 10:00.

About this location

The Scottish Highlands region

Sitting above Inverness on Leachkin Hill with great views of the surrounding area you will find Westercraigs. It is part of a listed building that was formerly a large Victorian hospital.

The apartment is part of the first phase of the development of the former hospital and in the West Wing there are a number of the apartments occupied. The immediate area is quiet and has many options for walking and cycling. Inverness has various attractions for all ages, including a wide range of restaurants and hotels. Nearby are the world famous attractions of Loch Ness and Culloden Moor.

If you travel beyond Inverness you will be able to explore the Black Isle where you might be lucky enough to spot the Moray Firth dolphins. You can also travel north or to the west and visit places such as Ullapool, Gairloch, Plockton and Poolewe. Heading south of Inverness will take you to Aviemore and the Cairngorm mountains where, during the winter months, you can go skiing. If you want to try your hand at water sports then take a trip to Loch Morlich and Loch Insch.
