The Loft is a charming 2 bedroom first floor flat conveniently tucked away 2 minutes' walking distance from Inverness City Centre and only 30 minutes from spectacular walks in the Highlands. The Loft is perfectly located whether you're looking for a base for touring the Highlands and Islands or a city break for wining and dining.

The accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms; the master bedroom is a Double and the second bedroom can be configured as a King or Twin room to cater for any combination of visitors. The light and airy decor in The Loft gives a cosy but light atmosphere with a hint of Scotland in every room. The living room is spacious enough to accommodate at least 4 people easily and provides a great atmosphere to relax in after a long day in the city or on the hills.

Access to The Loft is via the garden to the rear and up the external staircase. As you walk into the apartment, the hall leads you to the kitchen on one side and twin/king room on the other, both of which overlook the garden. Further down are the lounge, master bedroom and bathroom.

The Loft is not equipped for young children and as such is 'unsuitable' however if you would like to bring your own travel cot etc. we are more than happy. "Great Place to Stay in Inverness"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Loft. The location is super convenient, it takes less than 5 minutes to walk right to the heart of Inverness and there is a grocery store footsteps away. The apar… More

"Simply superb!!"

The Loft was a fully contained, cosy retreat for us - a home away from home really. The loft conversion has been done very space efficiently and tastefully. The place was very neat and tidy with crisp & clean bed linens and towels, there were spare ones too (just in case). We enjoyed watching a couple of movies from the DVD collection there. The kitchen had everything a family would need - like utensils, crockery, cutlery, salt, sugar, tea, coffee, oil, oven foil etc.....very helpful. Definitely maintained by a thoughtful and considerate person. The Loft certainly had a homely touch and was very convenient for us as it was situated very close the City Centre, Super store and local shops. Communicating with the owner was very easy as she was very responsive. The instruction booklet she had kept in the house was very useful, shows how organised a person she is. On the whole, out stay at the Loft was fantastic.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed your time at The Loft and felt at home there - it's exactly what we hope for in your stay.

"Clean, convenient & tastefully decorated flat in Inverness - PERFECT!"

I first made contact with Lucy in the Fall of 2013 to inquire about making accommodations at The Loft for my husband & I (and our 4 month old child) during the winter holiday season (mid-December 2013… More

"Great little place to stay in a lovely City"

My wife and I live on the Isle of Eigg and had to move to the mainland for a month in order to give birth to our first child. We had a fantastic first two weeks in the loft which is clean, in a great location and has two bedrooms. Our daughter was born on 4 November and we stayed in the loft for a further week. This little flat feels spacious for its size and we were quite happy during our stay.

Thank you for your review - great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. We were delighted to hear about your little girls birth. Anyone else in the same situation is more than welcome to stay at The Loft.

"Great location, great flat, very impressed."

As a one child(4) family a hotel room is not an option therefore a location which is central, and with 2 bedrooms and facilities that suit a 4 year is our priority.

We were delighted on arrival with the quality of the Loft, it is really well furnished, the bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped.
The lounge is cosy and even had some games and DVDs for our use which was a welcome change to our well worn selection. It's within walking distance of the city centre even for a 4 year old.
To sum up, if you are looking for 2 bedrooms, a well equipped self catering kitchen, somewhere clean and we'll looked after and a central location for Inverness.....look no further.

"Lovely, welcoming and comfortable home a short walk from central Inverness"

This was a great place for us two couples to stay over the marathon weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we had a few breakfasts and dinners around the table. The lounge was cosy, and the two bedrooms comfortable. Our first night was noisy due to some happy neighbours, but we understand this was a one-off and it was mostly quiet the rest of our stay. The owners were very helpful.

"Great location"

The apartment is an easy walk from the train station on a major street. Our family of 4 enjoyed the room available with an apartment. No internet but we enjoyed being disconnected (except the teenagers which was good for them). The kitchen facilities are good, but you are the dishwasher. Clothes washing machine provided but no dryer. However, drying rack and fan are provided. Grocery store is 1 block away (Tesco Metro). Many bars and restaurants within a short walk inlcuding Urquhart Restaurant which is excellent! It is a couple of blocks from The Loft. in summary, it is a clean and comfortable with a great location. We are Americans, but you must understand that you are in Europe and things are different! Definitely would stay there again!!!!
