"Thumbs up from 4 generations :)"

We were a family group travelling from the central belt of Scotland and Ireland to attend a family wedding in Nairn. We couldn't find a property in Nairn that was large enough for the size of our group and came across Cardon House - how fortunate were we! From the moment we arrived the property exceeded our expectations, which were high - we have rented many properties in Scotland and Ireland and this is by far the best. Beautiful externally and internally and extremely spacious, surrounded by wonderful gardens. Everything you could need from practical items e.g. Large range style cooker, microwave, coffee machine, American style fridge freezer to the luxurious towels in abundance, miniature toiletries and hotel standard beds and bedding. The property literally is a D.I.Y hotel. Each of our 5 families had a "suite" to themselves allowing privacy and the ability for all of us to be able to shower and get ready for the wedding we were attending without having to wait an age on showers/baths. Particularly beneficial for our party was a downstairs bedroom with walk in wet room, useful for those with reduced mobility. Our group was probably as diverse as you could get from a wee one under two to a seventy nine year old, teenagers, young adults and everything in between everyone LOVED Cardon House! So much so we hope to return for the 80th birthday next year, but who knows we might think of another reason to go back before then :)

"Perfect holiday home"

Cardon house beat my expectations, it was much more than what i had expected. Its a beautifuly and tastefully decorated house, with all the amenities provided. We were a family of 12 and a toddler and there was more than enough room for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped, with dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster , gas burners with oven and grill. The crockery, cutlery was more than adequate and there were even cutglasses for whiskey,wine,champagne,port..... Everything that one needs in a home was provided. Caroline and Donald are perfect hosts.A couple of days before we were to reach we remembered to ask Caroline if there was a baby cot.She arranged one for us at no extra cost.We wanted to do a BBQ and Donald immediately brought his 2 BBQ sets( as they live next door).
