The cottage ha a large double bedroom also a large bedroom which has 3 single beds both upstairs. The lounge has a flat screen tv with free sat a dvd,video.
The dining room seats 6 also has a flat screen tv,a cd/radio player and an open fire.
The kitchen is fully equipped consist of cooker,fridge/frezzer,washing machine,tumble dryer,microwave,coffee machine.
The bathroom has a full sized bathroom suite with a shower over the bath. The conservatory has a 3 piece suite is an ideal place to relax and watch the visiting wildlife. A picnic hamper and binoculars are provided for your use and a welcome pack is provided for your arrival tea,coffee ,milk,sugar,biscuits and a bottle of wine. You can visit many scenic places fort-william,skye,ullapool,aviemore glen affric known for its beauty and of course the famous loch ness 4 miles away

Inverness has a theatre also a club called the ironworks which hosts a variety of entertainment,this year we have running,Status Quo, Jools Holland in August
The Inverness, Highlands area
Near the cottage is loch meikle where you can go fishing or you can get a permit for fishing in glen affric there are 4 golf courses 3 in inverness 1 in agais which is about 8 miles away.
Inverness is hosting the open golf in july at castle stuart golf course.
Each Saturday in the summer we have highland games in different parts of the area where you will see the heavy-weights tossing the caber
Inverness city has many high street shops
Drumnadrochit has a supermarket,pharmacy, doctors surgery ,hairdressers,bakery and many gift shops

The house was perfect, excellent location close both to Loch Ness and to Inverness if you need shopping. The house is large, with the dining room and reception room in addition to the two large bedroom. The house is fitted with everything you can only imagine, and has a very large space outside with the views of the forest and walking distance from the lake. Liz is the most nice property I owner I ever encountered :) In short - it's perfect. |

We had a great stay. You can get to Inverness, the dolphins at Moray Firth, Loch Ness and Glen Affric really easily from the cottage, and Ullapool is less than an hour's beautiful drive away. Comfortable cottage with all you need - is nicer than you would guess from the pictures. Big garden with visiting deer and birds if you fancy a relaxing day at 'home'. |
