About the home

Whether you are looking for a golfing holiday or for a holiday with rest and relaxation, the Sabal Palm Golf Villa caters to various holiday needs. Built in 2004, this beautiful home is situated on an 18-hole golf resort in Inverness, Florida. This gorgeous house is situated on a 1-acre plot directly next to the golf course with lush vegetation and a private nature trail, where you can enjoy peace and quietness, to name but a few.

These are some of the reasons why we decided to buy this house. We fell in love with the location within this resort and also the countryside feel of the area appealed to us. The home is set back far from the road with a large lawn and a large driveway leading to a double garage with an automatic door. The vast number of trees on the plot provide for a relaxed atmosphere and sense of calmness.

There is direct access onto the terrace and pool area from the dining and family room through sliding doors. The area surrounding the pool consists of a covered patio with ceiling fans and a very spacious terrace (pool deck) with decorative stones and planters. There are outside table and chairs and sun loungers. The large swimming pool has a shallow-water sitting plateau and a deep-water section and is “eight-shaped”. The Jacuzzi is connected with the pool and has under-water benches. The electric pool heater can be used when necessary on request for the applicable charge in order to obtain a comfortable water temperature at all times.

The acre plot of land on which the house is situated offers a variety of landscaping as well as much space around the house for added privacy and enjoyment.

Once through the front door, you are welcomed by a hallway leading to the main open plan living area of the house, which consists of family room, dining room, extra sitting room and fully equipped spacious kitchen with breakfast counter and bar. The interior of the home has been decorated to high standards with elegant furnishings, artistic wall art and is fully air-conditioned. The master bedroom with walk-in closet and double bed is at the left front side of the house with en-suite bathroom consisting of WC, double sink, bathtub, and shower cabin. The master bedroom offers views of the golf course as well. The further 3 bedrooms are on the right side of the house all coming out into the family room area. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and also has an en-suite bathroom with WC, sink, and shower unit and direct access to the pool area. Bedroom 3 and 4 have twin beds and shared use of bathroom 3, which has a WC, sink, and shower. Bedroom 2, 3 and 4 have plenty of closet and drawer space as well. The living area and kitchen have tile and vinyl planking flooring, where the bedrooms are carpeted and the bathrooms have laminated flooring.

Large private swimming pool with underwater sitting area, Jacuzzi and very large terrace with plants and gravel. Very large lawn, private driveway and double garage. In the wooded area of the plot you will find a nature trail.

Pool heat can be arranged at applicable charges.

18 hole golf course on-site as well as a fabulous restaurant with fine and casual dining, bar and terrace.

As mentioned before, this Florida rental home does offer luxury accommodation to suit a variety of holiday needs. The home is situated in the Lakeside golf course resort and offers stunning views of the 18-hole Lakeside golf course. This may already sound appealing to many golfers, but there is one unique incentive though, which deserves to be mentioned separately as it is a golfer’s dream come true. When you rent this home, you can play unlimited golf with FREE GREEN FEES on the Lakeside golf course and on 3 additional golf courses in the area. This is no joke, but plain reality. As a renter of this home, you can enjoy a golf membership of 4 golf courses that gives the opportunity to play unlimited golf without having to pay for the green fees. In other words, when you rent this home and there are 8 people in your party, each one of you will be eligible to play golf with free green fees. The golf cart fee however is compulsory and golf clubs can be rented if required.

Conditions

DEPOSITS: Weekly stays require a $250 security deposit as per monthly stays will require a $500 security deposit payable at check-in. This deposit will be refunded within 28 days after departure subject to satisfactory inspection of the property.
CANCELLATION: 61 days prior to your arrival at no costs, 60 - 30 days prior to your arrival at a cost of 25% of the rental fee, 30 - 0 days prior to arrival no refund.

PETS: Pets are not permitted in the houses. If pets are brought onto the property, the deposit will be forfeited.
INDEMNIFICATION: The Tenant covenants that the Landlord shall not be liable to the Tenant for any damages or injuries to the property of the Tenant or to guests or property of the guests of the Tenant or any other person, occasioned by or due to alleged or real defects in the premises, and the Tenant agrees that it will held the Landlord harmless of and from and against the claims of all persons whosoever may allege that they have received injuries while upon the leased premises.
OCCUPANCY: The maximum capacity for a 3 bedroom is 6 people and a 4 bedroom is 8 people. Guests are allowed, however, if the number of OVERNIGHT guests exceeds the maximum capacity of the home, you will be asked to vacate and your deposit will be forfeited. No parties or larger gatherings are permitted on the premises without prior written approval of the rental agent.

The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region

Florida is the Sunshine State. This does not come as a surprise as the average temperature in Celsius ranges from 21 - 29 degrees meaning a fantastic climate. Florida has an immensly long coastline offering fantastic beaches.

The Florida Gulf coast in particular has some of the nicest beaches including the beautiful white sandy beach of Caladesi Island near Clearwater and the area of Citrus County offers an array of water recreational possibilities.

The Inverness, Florida area

This Florida rental home is situated in the Lakeside golf course resort in Inverness, Florida, where the 18-hole golf course is the central area with pro-shop and a clubhouse/restaurant with bar, bistro and fine dining on-site. Inverness is located in Citrus County, which is mainly bordered by rivers and the Gulf of Mexico. Inverness is a medium size town with a historic centre about 5 minutes from the Lakeside resort.

The area is considered countryside with lots of rivers, lakes, trees and other vegetation, hence it is not surprising that Citrus County is also referred to as the Nature Coast. The name Lakeside already indicates that this resort is near to a very large lake and old oak trees and other vegetation are contributing to Lakeside’s relaxed atmosphere.

You will find all the necessary local amenities within short driving distance from the villa. Amenities include supermarkets, post office, banks, department stores, shopping, shopping mall, convenience stores, medical centre, petrol stations, fast food restaurants, bars, restaurants, tourist information centre, museum, car repair, car rental and more. The opportunities for leisure and recreation include biking, hiking, golf, swimming, canoeing, car racetrack, bowling, museum, cinema, boat rentals, horseback riding, river tours, boat trips to the Gulf of Mexico, beach, Homosassa Wildlife Park, historic sights and more.

We do recommend that you rent a car as public transport is very limited if any. There is a rental car company in Inverness, but naturally there are numerous rental car companies at the airports. If you fancy a trip to one of Orlando’s many theme parks, you can reach them by car in about 70 minutes. Attraction tickets can be arranged through the front desk at Lakeside.

Car rental can be arranged at the airport. It takes about 80 - 90 minutes by car to Lakeside in Inverness from Orlando Int. airport and about 75 minutes by car from Tampa airport to Lakeside. The drive from Sanford airport to Lakeside in Inverness takes more than 90 minutes.
