Redwing is a charming, beautifully furnished 3 bedroom holiday house in the popular village of Instow. It is ideal for family holidays as well as a couple's weekend retreat. It is perfectly situated within a short, level walk (no more than 10 minutes) of Instow’s sandy beach, local shop/deli, pubs and restaurants.
It has outstanding views over the yacht club and out to sea from the front of the property and uninterrupted views over rolling green fields from the back of the house and garden.
Redwing has been refurbished to a high standard combining attractive, period features with contemporary, practical living.

Instow is a glorious gem nestling in the crook of the North Devon coast. Situated on the Torridge estuary it provides a more sheltered sandy shoreline, ideal for family beach holidays as well as exhilarating water sports.
Instow area
Within walking distance of the house, you can: - enjoy Instow's safe, sandy beach with sand dunes and ice-cream/bucket and spade stall - walk or cycle along the beautiful, coastal path - the Tarka Trail, - sail, water-ski and canoe on the estuary (store your boat at the yacht club) - visit the lovely pubs, bar and restaurants in Instow - buy delicious, local fish from the trawler on Fridays and Sundays - visit the excellent local shop/deli/supermarket/bakery/post office with its fresh produce - visit the local art gallery and monthly art exhibitions in the village hall - watch the cricket at the glorious North Devon Cricket club overlooking the sea
For keen surfers or those looking to learn, the nearest surfing beach is Westward Ho! (no more than 10 minutes drive). We recommend Surfed Out - a shop (to hire/buy/book lessons) and cafe, just off the beach, where guests at Redwing can get a 10% discount.
On the other side of the estuary, there are the better known surf beaches of Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe. There are many surfing shops and cafes here but we recommend Loose Fit in Braunton (surf shop and cafe with WiFi) where you can also get a 10% discount. If you're looking for second hand wet suits for adults or children, try Tiki which is hidden on Caen Street, off the main Braunton high street.
