lovely helpfull people , however the shippen smelled of damp the beds felt damp at night also the box of soft toys keept under the stairs smelled damp. The sitting room did not have enough easey chairs… More

We are disappointed with this review being our 1st not up to the mark. The Shippen is built partly below ground level and therefore we do advise guests to open windows for air circulation, unfortunately not all guests do so. The Shippen is let for up to 7 persons and there is enough seating for such. We are mystified buy the comment on Kitchen equipment which we feel is above average and sufficient for 7 guests. If guests have visitors they only have to ask and more can be provided. We do try to go the extra mile with all our guests and felt we had also done so on this occasion.
