Innerhaven is a beautiful 19th Century riverside conversion overlooking the Leithen Water in Innerleithen, one of Peeblesshire's most scenic towns. Some of our guests say that it's historic exterior didn't quite prepare them for what's inside – a stunning mixture of old and new that has prompted reviews and guest comments from "just right" to "fabulous in every way." We've even been 'mystery shopped' and come out with flying colours.

As the name suggests, innerhaven self catering in Innerleithen provides a warm, relaxing and particularly practical place to stay in the Tweed Valley area of the Scottish Borders. Whether you want to relax inside with friends or family, or get out and explore, innerhaven's an ideal alternative to hotel, B&B and bunkhouse accommodation when you're looking for accommodation next to Glentress and the rolling hills of the Tweed Valley.

Just 45 minutes away from Scotland's capital city, and right next door to the world-famous Glentress and Innerleithen 7Stanes mountainbike centres the ground floor of our characterful old whinstone house has been lovingly refurbished so that our Scottish Borders self catering holiday cottage is well equipped for all your needs. It's perfectly located for outdoors lovers, canoeists and visitors to Southern Scotland – a stone's throw from the magnificent River Tweed, and just seconds away from some of Scotland's best mountain biking, fishing, golfing and walking on the Southern Upland Way.

"Perfect base for Mountain Bikers with the perfect hosts"

We stayed at Innerhaven in April 2013 before it was listed on Trip Advisor which is the reason for the belated review. Even if you take mountain biking out of the picture Innerhaven is a great place … More

"A great place to stay for biking"

Had a great weekend at Innerhaven. The house is cosy, modern, spacious and is well equipped. Brilliant setup for mountain bikers, with secure storage, washing facilities and drying room - everything has been considered.

Andy was helpful in responding to our queries and accommodating to our requests. We will definitely look at returning to Innerhaven if we are in the area again.

"Warm, bright, cosy mountain-biking better-than-home-from-home"

We were lucky enough to stay at Innerhaven over New Year 2013/14. The heating was on in readiness for our arrival and there was a bottle of sparkling wine on the table and beers in the fridge. What a … More

"Default place to stay if biking in the area with a group"

Glad I found out about Innerhaven. Andy and Aneela have made us feel very welcome (whilst at the same time not being 'there' all the time!) each time we've visited. Perfect setup for a … More
