About the home

In an oasis of peace and quiet , yet only 3 minutes from the first town centre (Incisa in val d'Arno) and 20 minutes from Florence, stands Bellavista. It is situated on the border of Chianti Classico only 19kms south of Florence with easy access to the A1 highway. The property has easy access to all amenities, many excellent restaurants and typical tuscany taverns for eating out.

It offers impressive panoramic views of the River Arno Valley and part of the Apennine Mountains.
Bellavista benefits from its own private pool, park and private parking. All eleven apartments are situated around the lovely 16 x 8m pool offering superb panoramic views. The pool is equipped with shower, tables, chairs and umbrellas. It is illuminated at night which provides a wonderfully romantic setting.
The apartment offers stunning country views and is furnished with a table and chairs to enable dinner al fresco.

Agriturismo Bellavista is ideal for families and couples with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay: a relaxing holiday set amongst a beautiful landscape and very close to a great part of the most attractive cities and villages of Tuscany.

Agriturismo Bellavista is really easy to reach, from any direction: by plane,car or train. We are only 19 Km from Florence City (20 minutes trip by train or car).
We strictly reccommend to rent a car in order to deeply appreciate your permanence at Bellavista.

DISTANCES: 19 Km from Florence City - 30 km from Florence Airpot " Amerigo Vespucci" - 100 Km from Pisa Airport "galileo Galilei" - 3 km from INCISA Train Station - 6 Km from FIGLINE VALDARNO Train Station (the two mentioned stations are very well connected to Florence and Arezzo ).

From Florence City: enter the motorway A1 (enter at "Firenze Sud" entrance) - follow indication to ROMA - exit, after 19 km, at INCISA exit - drive on your left for about 30 meters until first STOP and see in front of you the sign to "BELLAVISTA agriturismo" - keep following our signs with attention - we are only 3 km from the motorway exit, uphill.


BY PLANE:

Fly to FlORENCE airport ("Amerigo Vespucci") - enter the motorway A1 and follow signs to ROMA - exit at " I N C I S A" exit - drive on your left for 30 meters until first STOP - see in front of youu sing to "BELLAVISTA agriturismo" - keep following our signs with attention - we are only 3 km from the motorway exit, uphill.

Fly to PISA airport ("Galileo Galilei") - enter the motorway A11 and follow signs to ROMA A1 - enter the motorway A1 and follow sings to ROMA - than follow same instructions given above.

The towns of "Incisa in Val d'Arno" (2 km from Bellavista) and "Figline in Val d'Arno" ( 6 km from Bellavista), may be easly reached by train, too. From Florence city it is possibile to catch local trains to INCISA (35 minutes trip) or direct trains to Figline Valdarno (20 minutes trip). From the INCISA train station you can take a taxi to BELLAVISTA; from FIGLINE VALDARNO train station you can take a taxi or rent a car (Hertz) to BELLAVISTA.

In Florence you can rent a car at the airport (Hertz) or in the city: Hertz / Maggiore / Avis / Europcar / Autoeuropa / Happyrent / Excelsior / Travel Car / program / easy Car / Sixt etc....

*** My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in Sept of '07. It was absolutly amazing. If I could chose my favourite out of the 5 places we stayed in Italy, this would be it. The family is lovely and so so nice! The town is quaint and the people that live there are very sweet. Most don't speak Italian but they will go out of their way to try to help. And the olive oil, the best I've ever had! I'm nearing the end of my bottle and it is worth it to pay for another flight just to come get more! I would highly suggest Bellevista! *** We stayed at Agriturismo Bellavista and had a great time. Seven of us took two of the smaller Poggetos and two of the larger two bedroom units. We have stayed at agriturismos in the past and were pleasantly surprised at how great the set up was here for a group. They were so well priced that we were able to take 4 flats, the ability for us to get together by the pool, and split up in our nice units with kitchens, made the trip infinitely more fun. The small town of Incisa at the foot of the hill was quaint and not overrun by tourists. It was only a short 30 minute drive or train into Florence, so we felt we were in the best of both worlds, close to Florence, and at the beginning of the Tuscan countryside. Chiara was the woman who showed us our room. She was gracious and knowledgeable, yet left us alone after we were settled in. She even provided us with a little olive oil when we forgot some at the store one night. I could not think of a better combo of close to town, and in the country. Thanks for the memorable week! *** L'accueil est sympathique. Nous avons apprécié le panier de bienvenu et le petit lit bébé préparé avec soin. L'appartement Boschetto 2 est très spacieux. La porte de séparation entre la partie nuit et celle de jour est très appréciable surtout quand deux personnes dorment dans le séjour... L'appartement se trouve au 1er étage et la petite terrasse - bien ombragée - se trouve au rez. L'isolation phonique entre les appartements est un peu limite. Très belle piscine, bien équipée de tables, chaises, chaises longues et parasol. Seul bémol, l'eau est trop chlorée. Les enfants (et les parents aussi parfois) se sont bien amusés dans la salle de jeux avec table de ping-pong (les raquettes laissent un peu à désirer, mais le jeu est gratuit...), billard et baby-foot payants (Fabienne T.)
