Wilderhaven is a charming Victorian cottage in a terraced row of similar properties. Built around 1880 at the west end of Ilfracombe in a 'conservation area' with easy (no hills) access to the seafront, the Victorian Tunnels Beaches, Harbour and Torrs walk.

Ilfracombe's seafront promenade is a ten minute walk where the public beach, amusements, Capstone Quay and the Landmark Theatre are situated. A short distance, either around the 'Quay' or directly, there is the picturesque harbour where Damien Hirsts 'Verity' can be seen. The increasingly popular Tunnels Beaches is about five minutes, an easy walk from the house. A privately maintained beach with a cafe, play area, beaches, rockpools (feel free to use the nets etc. in the outhouse). This is a very popular wedding venue now with a purpose built facilty and private beach area.

Ilfracombe has plenty of other attractions on offer, crazy golf at the seafront, pich&putt & a Skatepark, pretty parks to walk & play in, a family friendly cinema and is also a great base to visit attractions in the area.

Ample places to eat out nearby and a supermarket at the end of the road or the town just a short walk away. Parking can be found at a number of authority owned sites, one opposite the property or another at the end of the road.

Wilderhaven offers a well equipped kitchen for those who like to eat in, a bathroom with bath & shower, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom & one single. The good sized open plan Lounge/ Diner provides ample space to dine and relax.

There is a launderette close by if required.
