Contemporary and well equipped apartment in Ilfracombe with sea views, private parking and secure patio. Beautifully presented and conveniently located close to Tunnels Beach, the Promenade and harbour. The apartment offers a high standard of accommodation throughout with high ceilings and spread over two floors in a location that has everything within walking distance. The ground floor is complimented with oak flooring throughout and American plantation shutters. The lounge is spacious and has excellent views of the sea, Capstone and the Landmark Theatre whilst from the rear balcony you can see Hillsborough. There is a large 46 inch TV, wi-fi, Sony Playstation, games and DVD's. Downstairs are two good sized bedrooms, the master has a king size bed with Sony TV, shower room and walk-in wardrobe. The second bedroom can be a twin or superking and has access to the patio garden. Both bedrooms have newly fitted modern headboards, high quality bed linen and pocket sprung mattresses. There is a wow factor large modern bathroom with a deep bath and separate shower, perfect after a long day in the sun. Linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided as well as a welcome pack with a few essentials to start your holiday. The apartment can accommodate a 5th person on a guest foldaway bed which carries a £25 supplement per week.

The West Country region

North Devon is known best for its beautiful beaches, cream teas, stunning coastline, the South West Coastal path and picturesque fishing villages. It appeals to all ages due to the diversity of whats on offer - surfing at Woolacombe or Croyde, a boat trip to Lundy Island, coastal walks to Baggy Point, Lynton and Lynmouth or a visit to Arlington Court, a Regency House with an impressive horse-drawn carriage collection. North Devon also has two national parks to explore- Exmoor and Dartmoor. There are a number of excellent golf courses in the region. If you want to travel further afield, within an hours drive you can reach Clovelly, a stunning village set into a steep, cobbled hillside. Other attractions include the Big Sheep, a great day out with lots to do or visit Dartington Crystal to see glass blowing.


The harbour and promenade areas of Ilfracombe offer lots to keep everyone entertained - crazy golf, the aquarium, boat trips from the harbour, walks up to the top of Capstone Hill opposite the apartment to catch stunning coastal views. "Verity" a bronze sculpture by Damien Hirst, is located in the harbour. Children can explore and go rock pooling in Hele Bay, Tunnels Beach or a few minutes drive away at Lee Bay. There are popular attractions such as Combe Martin Dinosaur and Wildlife Park or Watermouth Castle for children and horse riding and golf are available nearby. .

"Superb, Fantastic, covenient, great place to stay"

We visited in July 2013 when weather was super warm, It was a last minute booking for 3 nights. To start the communication with the owner was top notch, I received an email and a phone call giving all the relevant info inc checking in / key handover info. The appartment was in a super location and would have been easy to find if our sat nav had taken us into Ilfracombe the right way! Our sat nav would not find the street so maybe if you do want to book then research that before setting out. The appartment is super, all very new & very clean and modern, all decor, furniture, funishings and appliances are great quality. Bedrooms are downstairs which meant they were cool in the hot weather, The shower in en suite was nice and powerful, didnt use the one in main bathroom but bath in main bathroom was super big which our daughter loved! Beds are lovely quality and very comfortable, There is a large walk in wardrobe in the main bedroom with plenty of room. All in all this is a fab place to stay, I would book again in a flash. The Location is great, The property is on a hill but its a 5 minute walk to the Landmark theatre and the beach next door, The Tunnels are a 15 minute walk but well worth it. There are cafes, restaurants, shops all within 10 minutes walk. The one bonus was the fact that we had a parking space with the property, Its just a very short stroll over the road in a car park, we pulled the car right outside the property when we were un loading / loading the car which worked well. You do get a little street noise with cars and people walking past but this was not a problem for us. All in All do not hesitate to book as you will not be dissapointed!!!!
