Bright and stunning apartment in Ilfracombe with sea views, 2 private parking spaces and secure rear courtyard. In a prime location between Tunnels Beach and the Promenade and harbour area, it has all the restaurants and bars within short walking distance. A new 360 Virtual Walkthrough available (link not compatible on this site). The high ceilings, spacious rooms and quality of decor enhance the luxury feel of the this property which is spread over two floors. The ground floor is complimented with oak flooring throughout and American plantation shutters. The lounge has excellent views of the sea, Capstone and the Landmark Theatre whilst the rear balcony has views of the town and Hillsborough, an area of the South West Coastal Path known as 'The Sleeping Elephant'. There is a 46 inch Sony TV, music system, wi-fi, DVDs, board games and PS4 console with Netflix, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and Box Sets provided free plus access to apps such as Amazon Prime, Now TV. The bright modern kitchen seats 6 and is very well equipped with granite surfaces, integrated appliances, a Ninja Coffee bar and matching Dualit toaster and kettle. Downstairs are two good sized bedrooms, the luxury master has a king size bed with Sony TV, shower room and walk-in wardrobe. The second bedroom can be a twin or superking and has access to the patio garden. Both bedrooms have high quality pocket sprung beds and bed linen. There is a superb large modern bathroom with a deep bath and separate shower, perfect after a long day in the sun. Linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided as well as a welcome pack with to start your holiday. The apartment can accommodate a 5th person on either child foldaway bed or sofa bed in the lounge which carries a £50 supplement per week.

Fantastic apartment

Absolutely fantastic apartment so close to the centre of ilfracombe. Has everything you need. Very comfortable. Private parking. Will definitely be back!

Thank you for your kind review. I will contact our housekeeping team to address your comments as bath mats and toilet paper for both bathrooms should have been provided to ensure there are a few starter items for your arrival. Hand soap is also provided. I will investigate the heated towel rail as this is usually heated by either pressing the red button at the bottom or by turning on the heating system. The bedroom lamps in the master bedroom are brand new with high quality LED bulbs so I am surprised one of these was not working for your stay so will investigate if there is a fault. The rear gate is normally on a latch however your visit did coincide with our window cleaner and so I suspect it was an oversight that this wasn't shut properly afterwards. The front door is secured by both a mortice lock (key operated) and a night latch. It has additional bolts at the top and bottom but these are not essential as they can be harder to slide across on a wooden door which is affected by weather conditions such as heat and moisture. The easiest way to secure the door is to use the keys on the mortice lock. This shouldn't compromise the security of the apartment in any way. We hope you still had a lovely time and that this won't put you off staying again in the future.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Letitia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
