This lovely apartment on the water's edge has fabulous far-reaching views over the open sea and is situated off the coast path in a quiet area of Ilfracombe. The panoramic sea views can fully be appreciated from the apartment's balcony where you can relax and enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine and watch the boats entering the harbour. Occasionally you can see seals.
You will be a short stroll to the natural harbour, where you can see Damien Huirst's controversial ''Verity'' Sculpture, the Blue Flag Tunnels beaches, shops, theatre, a wealth of good pubs and restaurants as well as the harbourside restaurant that is owned by the artist Damien Hirst. There are coastal walks right on the doorstep or venture further afield towards Exmoor National Park which is beautiful in all seasons. You will be ideally positioned for touring the whole area with all year attractions including National Trust's Arlington Court, Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. The golden sands of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands are 10 minutes by car.
The comfortable accommodation is very well-equipped and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with sea views and 1 single bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan, lounge area with SkyTV including Sky Sports, DVD, hi-fi and french doors opening out onto the balcony. Kitchen area with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: balcony with sea views and seating. Amenities: parking is 2 minutes' walk and a car parking pass is included for 1 car. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Wi-fi available. Regret no smoking or pets. Additional info: care must be taken with small children on balcony. A free entrance ticket to the Tunnels Beaches is provided, please note Tunnels Beaches open Easter - October only.
