It is situated in the oldest part of Ilfracombe where the street leads straight down to the charming natural harbour. The apartment is approached by a slate covered stairway which is believed to have been cut from the rockface around the year 800 with the house having been built around it in around 1760. You will be within walking distance to all of Ilfracombe s amenities and attractions including its flower-strewn shopping streets lazy pavement cafés and a wealth of different places to eat including the new harbourside restaurant that is owned by the artist Damien Hirst. Explore the seasonal wonders of Exmoor National Park the rugged North Devon Atlantic coastline and the golden sands of Woolacombe Croyde and Saunton Sands which are 10 minutes by car. The apartment offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 room with a 4ft double and a single. Bathroom: modern with shower over bath and WC. Lounge: approached via a cottage style staircase has glimpses of the sea and includes TV DVD and hi-fi. Just off the lounge is a comfy snug area with books and quiet games making it ideal as a child s lounge. Dining room: off the kitchen with seating. Kitchen: with breakfast bar cooker with gas hob microwave full-size fridge/freezer washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: approached via narrow steps you will find a suntrap roof terrace with garden furniture and distant views of the harbour and beyond.
