Accessed via a communal internal staircase, the inner hallway leads to a stylish open plan living area with a well equipped kitchen to one side. An extending table & chairs are provided for dining. A convenient cloakroom is accessed off the hallway. The two bedrooms are carpeted for comfort and both attractively presented.
Situated in an ideal location, On The Rocks is within a short stroll of the Tunnels Beaches, a selection of shops, restaurants, traditional pubs and the Landmark Theatre. The nearby harbour offers pleasure cruises and fishing trips and keen walkers will enjoy the spectacular coastal paths. A perfect choice for any time of the year.

The Ilfracombe area
Ilfracombe is a traditional holiday resort positioned between the Exmoor National Park to the east and the glorious beaches of North Devon's golden coast to the west.
White washed houses, grand villas and an annual Victorian celebration affirm Ilfracombe's timeless elegance with a choice of shops, restaurants and the Landmark Theatre.
The area around Ilfracombe harbour is a hive of activity where you can catch a boat to Lundy Island or join a fishing expedition. For a traditional day at the sideside, visit Ilfracome's Tunnels Beaches - four tunnels hand-carved in the 1820's lead to a safe seawater swimming pool, ideal for children and rock pools teaming with sealife.

By Car, from M5 junction 27, follow A361 through Barnstaple to Ilfracombe, approx 1 hour journey time from M5.
By Train. To Exeter via Intercity service and on to Barnstaple on the Tarka line. Regular bus service from Barnstaple to Ilfracombe. National Express coach service to Ilfracombe.
By Ferry. Service from Swansea expected to start in 2011.

I can't fault the accommodation at all. All rooms were finished and furnished to a very high standard and the lovely big windows in the lounge and front bedroom gave great views over Ilfracombe and out to sea. Booking the apartment couldn't have been easier and the owners were prompt with the booking information and easily available by phone and e-mail. Ilfracombe was a lovely place to stay, although it's pretty hilly and all roads back to the apartment were quite steep if you're walking. Great apartment, great value for money. |

High standard accommodation, clean and well equiped. Several large steps down to the accommodation so would not recommend for anyone with walking difficulties and it may be difficult with small children. |

Property has two very spacious bedrooms and is well decorated and well maintained. Lovely big windows with views out to sea and only a minute or twos walk to the high street. There is wireless Internet access available and a collection of board games and DVDs. The owners' communication was great and couldn't recommend it enough. |
