Home description

Built in 2006, but in old style, with high standard materials. The salon has got wooden interior making it looks cosy. There are 2 log fire inside the main building.

Nicely furnished with high quality sofas. 10 minutes by walk to the nearest beach (0,7 km). A supermarket is at the opposite end of the street (200 m). 3 free car parking are at less than 200 m from the house.

Charente-Maritime is surrounded by the departments of Gironde, Charente, Deux-Sèvres, Dordogne and Vendée and has a mild, pleasant climate with a lot of sunny days in a year.

It is a popular holiday destination amongst tourist and the places of interest are: La Rochelle, Royan, Saintes, St Jean d'Angely, Rochefort, Île d'Aix, Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron.

Beaches are clean and some of them are developed for naturists only. You will find a lot of cycling and walking paths and will be able to admire the beauty of the region.

How to get there

The house is in the village of Ars en Ré, close to supermarket, very quiet street, the bus from La Rochelle stops à 200 metres from the house.

You can take this bus from Train station in La Rochelle, lots of TGV trains coming from Paris, a little bit more than 3 hours by train from Paris; 4 hours by car.
