Ile de Re / La Flotte en Re area
Ile de Ré is a captivating island set off the west coast of France next to the old city of La Rochelle. The island is 19 kms long and 6 kms wide and cycle paths cover the island. La Flotte is one of the 10 villages with its old fishing harbour, its sandy beach, daily medieval market and many cafes and restaurants by the sea.
