Villa Pauline, is well equipped, has 4 double bedrooms and is most suitable for families or a group of couples wishing to take it easy and savour the delights of the charming Ile de Re at a relaxed pace.
The entrance is 3.20m² and gives access to the bedrooms and the main living room. The main living room of the villa is facing east-south-west and is very spacious (68.90m²). It includes an American style kitchen corner, a lounge and a dining area. The west facing kitchen is well equipped with vitro ceramic cooking hobs, an electric oven, a micro wave, a dish washer, an American style fridge with an ice cube fountain, a TV, shelving and cutlery and crockery. The washing machine is in the back kitchen.
The dining area has 2 wooden tables and chairs, as well as a chest.
The lounge has a sofa, 2 armchairs, a fire place, a TV and a coffee table.
The villa has 4 double bedrooms, one bathroom and 2 shower rooms.
Bedroom one (14m²) is facing east and has a double electrical bed (160cm), 2 bed side tables and 2 built in wardrobes.Bedroom two (9m²) is facing south-east and has 1 double bed (140cm), one built in wardrobe and 2 bedside tables.Bedroom three (15m²) is facing south-east and has one double bed (140cm), one bedside table, a TV, a sofa and a built in wardrobe.Bedroom four (12m²) is facing south-west and is accessible from the outside. It has 1 double bed (140cm), one single bed (100cm) and 2 bedside tables, a stereo and WC. The second shower room has a shower.
The bathroom (5.30m²) is facing south east and has a bath with a shower fitment, 2 hand basins and an electric towel dryer. There is a shower room, followed by a corridor (5m²) with access to a further WC with a small hand basin and the outside terrace.
The south facing terrace is 49m² and is tiled with stones and has a sheltered BBQ area. The 50m² swimming pool is only 3 steps down from the terrace and is surrounded by grass. There is also a west facing grassed courtyard and you may park your car on the grounds of the house.
Please note that there are 3 steps going from the terrace, down to the swimming pool.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Charente Maritime region

Situated less than 3km from La Rochelle on the west coast of France, Ile de Re boasts a sunshine record more or less equal to the Côte dâ��Azur on the Mediterranean.

Ile de Re, with a coastline stretching some 70km, is connected to the mainland by an elegant 3km bridge and is made up of ten villages, where the traditional architecture of the region prevails. The little low houses, whitewashed walls, blue or green shutters and a riot of colourful hollyhocks typify this charming island.

To trully apreciate this enchanting island, you need to relax, move down a gear, and leave your car parked up. A network of 87km of flat cycle tracks means that all the family can discover the villages, beaches, forests and salt marshes at a leisurely pace and for the most part, well away from the roads. Little fishing and yacting harbours, village markets, ecomuseums and bird sanctuaries are all easily accessible by bike. There are numerous cycle hire shops with all manner of two and three wheeled inventions to transport even the very young and no hill is over 19m above sea level.

The Ile de Re / Le Bois Plage area

Le Bois Plage is an ideal place to make the most of the joys of sport, leisure and sea side. Let yourself be the judge.

Le Bois Plage has 7 km of sandy beaches and there are two sailing schools on the Plage de Gros Jonc which is bordered by vineyards and woods. The â��Vignerons de lâ��ile de Réâ�� wine co-operative is open daily for guided tours in July and August. Le Bois Plage also possesses remnants of the prehistoric and the Gallo-Roman eras.

Don�t miss the daily market which literally tumbles out of the covered food hall to invade the square and streets around with all manner of gifts, gadgets, clothing and artefacts.
