Ikaria

Skourdouliari is an isolated beach down the road from the mountain village of Chrysostomos, and close to the tiny seaside village of Leivadi. Leivadi has a Taverna where you can enjoy Local delicacies and great hospitality. Further towards the town of Aghios Kirikos, within 3 km you can find more Tavernas and traditional cafés (Kafeneion) in the seaside village of Xylosyrtis, which also has a lovely pebbled beach. The nearby infrastructure consists mostly of country roads, occasionally without tarmac. for more tourist information on Ikaria please see here: http://www.island-ikaria.com/

Sarakiniko can also be approached by yacht or speedboat, and the harbor can accommodate a speedboat up to 7m, if negotiated kindly with the fishermen. Alternative in the summer months a yacht can approach the beach outside the harbor easily.
