Situated on high ground near to a 14th century hill village enjoying views over the foothills of the Beaujolais and Madeline mountains.

You will have exclusive use of everything this château has to offer, from the heated swimming pool ,pool table, free internet, park. The château boasts a large hall nine meters high with galleried walkways , a salon modelled on a music room at the Château of Fontainebleu, and 6 en suite bedrooms to name a few!!

- Bar area surrounding the kitchen with visual access to hall and salon. Please note the chateau is fully equipped for 14 people . It has 2 Z beds for a more flexible use of the bedrooms. These beds are more suitable for children. Free broadband internet included . 2 of the bathrooms also have showers

Heated swimming pool . From just outside the chateau grounds there is direct access to a premier grade fishing river and various mountain bike and walking trails.

The Burgundy / Saone-et-Loire region

Burgundy is a lovely area of France, most famous for its wines and of course beef bourguignon! The region's landscape is enchanting - dotted with tiny villages, manor farms and, of course, châteaux. It is also known for its Roman architecture and boasts a rich history.

The Iguerande area

Lyon, a world heritage city, has to be visited but do not overlook our 14th century hill village or the adjacent town of Roanne famous for its gastronomic delights which includes « Troisgros » a Michelin three star restaurant. The canal basin and of course the Loire river form the basis of many town centre and counrtryside walks. Revellion’s international chocolate factory and shop can be found on the river bank.

Lake Sapin is nearby; an inland resort with beaches, horses, woodland adventure trail and boats - just to name a few things. The Beaujolais mountians and vineyards are not to be missed, as are the nearby Madelines which form part of the Massive Central. Many walking and mountain bike trails start from just outside the chateau grounds.

The Chateau is 5km from the A77 / N7 trunk road which is the main road between Paris and Lyon; near to the town of Roanne.
Easily accessible to all channel ports.
Nearest airport Lyon, one hour. Geneva two hours which has more international flights and flights from other regions of the UK. Grenoble one hour twenty minutes.
Ryanair fly Grenoble to London Stanstead. Easyjet fly to Lyon and Geneva from various UK airports.
