The Island of Malta region
The Maltese archipelago lies virtually at the centre of the Mediterranean, with Malta 93km south of Sicily and 288km north of Africa. The archipelago consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino with a total population of 400,000 inhabitants over an area of 316sq km and a coastline of 196.8km (not including 56.01 km for the island of Gozo).
Megaliths, medieval dungeons and Calypso's Cave – The Maltese Islands are positively mythic. Further details indoors: The main bedroom has a large terrace with excellent sea and country views. It has a queen size bed, a separate dressing room and en-suite bathroom, air-condition, telephone, and room to room intercom. Two other twin bedrooms that can be set to double or triple, both air-conditioned, and room to room intercom.
Large lounge with fireplace, cable TV, sofa which can be turned into a double bed and another sofa bed in the living area, thus making the villa accommodate up to a maximum of twelve adults. It also has a large picture window with excellent views and large door leading to the garden and swimming pool.
An excellently equipped kitchen/dining with refrigerator, freezer, electric oven/microwave, electric hob, and all necessary utensils. It is also air-conditioned, has a cast iron stove, cable TV and room to room intercom. The kitchen leads to a sunroom and to the pool area. In the utility room one can make use of the washing machine, dishwasher, and ironing board.
