About the home

This cute semi-detached house is in a quiet area close to Ibiza town and you have the choice of booking the upper level if you have group of 6 - 8 persons or if you have a smaller group than you can book the lower level if you have a group of 3 - 4 persons . Both levels have spectacular views from the terrace and garden with views of Ibiza town, ocean and Formentera.

This casa has its own charm. It has a terrace that's perfect for entertaining or chilling after a great day of fun on the beach. There's plenty of opportunity to relax in the chill out couch or hammock in the garden.

The upper level and the lower level have there own kitchen's and bathrooms which are very Ibicenco. In the upper level there is 3 double bedrooms and a large chill out sofa in the living area could also be used for 2 persons in the upper level and in the lower level there is one double bed and a single bed.

This property can be rented out both as a whole or separately depending on your group size. The maximum person's for the whole property would be 12 persons.

It is world renowned for some of the best music and night life that Europe has to offer and is surrounded by some of most beautiful beach and natural reserves. It offers a wide variety of activities for the very young to the more senior.

Can Mateo is located approximately 1.5km from the Islands capital of Ibiza Town. Here you can stroll through the winding cobbled streets of the Old Town leading up to the top where some of the most spectacular views across the Island can be seen.

The vibrant port area comes alive at night with a huge choice of quality bars and restaurants, street parades, stalls and designer shops. Here you can really soak up the atmosphere of Ibiza by night. From Ibiza Port you can take a ferry to Formentera or beaches around the Island and it offers a large range of sea adventures and water sports such as sailing, wake-boarding, snorkeling, caving, canoeing, scuba diving and much more!

There are many cheap flights to sunny Ibiza with company's like Ryanair or if you are driving then the ferry from Barcelona leaves most day's, but this need to be checked with Acciona or Baleria ferry company's. If you are looking to hire a car during peak season which is July and August than it is recommended that you do that before you get here, as many company's are fully booked out.

A taxi fare from the airport should be no more than 20 - 30 euros in high season. If you need a taxi please contact me prior to departure so that I can organize it for you, and avoid waiting in long queues.

(During the summer there are regular bus services to the local beaches and Ibiza town)

“Nice affordable villa!” Nice place, far enough from town so is really peacefull, but close enough you can walk over there. 5 min. walk to the supermarket. The house is old, but clean, nice dinning area and cool living room with terrace. It's perfect to explore Ibiza's beaches since it has good access to all the highways, motorbike rental on site! The landlord was really helpfull a fun to hang out with, the hole vibe of the villa is really chill. Hope i can come back next year!

“great house, convenient location with a cool view” I stayed here for a week in July 2011. had a great time very handy for the old town with a great view. Quiet at night but easy to get anywhere on the Island. supermarket in walking distance too. The villa was vey clean and comfortable; with good outdoor area. The manager knows the area and is very helpful. recommended

“Terrible house! Don't rent it!” Hallo everybody, we just came back from Ibiza. The island is wonderfull, but this house we rented is terrible! Do not rent this place!!!!!! We paid (3000€ for 2 weeks!)way too much for this old house(looks good on picture though).The beds are old, the matrasses need to be changed, their is no coffeemachine, are nothing else to make coffee. There are not enough pots and pans to cook (and we are only 3 people!). There is no BBQ. The toilet didn't work (we had to put water in a bukket). There is a television but it doesn't work. There is no table and there are no chairs to sit outside; No airco. The bath is old and dirty. Some doors don't go open. Some lamps have no "lamp". And the worst is : every day (exept the weekends) trucks are going up and down the road from 7 o clock in the morning, during the whole day!!!! You really cannot sleep!!!! So if you want a good holiday and some rest, don't rent this house! Response: Thank you for your feedback! We take all feedback seriously and would like to say that we have done everything to try and fix any concerns that you may have had. This house is an old farm house that does not have A/C and on occasion there might be trucks/tractors that do pass by, but I can assure you that BBQ etc are available. We have brought in new cleaners to make sure that we pass on a property that is always clean we feel that every effort has been made to address your concerns.
