This flat consists of a spacious living area with 2 single sofa-beds, 1 bedroom with a double bed. Fully equipped kitchen area (4 ceramic hobs, refrigerator, micro-wave oven, dishwasher and electric coffee-maker), and a bathroom with basin and bath (Separate toilet). The apartment also boasts a television (with foreign channels), a telephone and an Individual safe.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region

The Cote d'Azur is sited on the Mediterranean coast of France and boasts a reliable climate of hot summers and mild winters. It has peerless beaches and excellent watersport facilities, with a whole host of fascinating hill towns and villages with a plentitude of local history.

Major centres like St Raphael, Cannes & Nice have a glut of facilities and attract international tourists all year round. The South of France, however, is still very much for the locals and is home to a number of local festivals which celebrate events from 14th July to the local harvest of the chestnut crop. The region has some of the best small vineyards in the whole country and its restaurants can rival any in Europe.

Hyeres / Giens area

Between the Almanarre with its 6 km of fine sand beaches and the La Capte and La Bergerie beaches, the Giens peninsula is famous as a paradise for windsurfers and yachtsmen. It is a protected natural site and lies opposite the Iles d’Or (Porquerolles, Port-Cros, Le Levant), which is ideal for boat excursions. The resort awarded the Blue Flag in 2005 (guarantee that the environment is protected).

On the peninsula : Giens, a small, charming Provencal village; the Niel and Madrague harbours; Darboussière beach (walks along the coastal path lined with cliffs and beaches); the salt trade eco-museum at the "Salins des Presquiers" (2 km circuit).
The “Corniche des Maures” (picturesque tourist route stretching from Le Lavandou to La Croix Valmer).

How to get there

By air:

Fly straight to Toulon/Hyeres from Stansted with Ryanair.com. Alternatively fly to Nice or Marseille with easyjet, bmibaby, Thomsonfly or BA.

By train:

Toulon is a TGV station, and is only 20km away
