The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
Hyères is one of the loveliest towns on the Côte d’Azur, with long palm-lined streets of elegant Victorian villas. Coastal day trips from Hyères include the local islands (frequent ferry crossings), St Tropez, Cannes, Nice and Monte Carlo. Easily accessible inland are Cotignac, Lorgues, Tourtour and the other hill villages of the Haut Var. To the north west, Aix en Provence is an easy drive (about an hour) and, combined with a visit to Avignon, makes a perfect day’s outing.

Cheap flights from London to Toulon/Hyeres with Ryanair. The property is just 8 km from the airport. You can also fly to Marseille or Nice and drive to Hyeres (just over 1 hour).
