Define word "cozy" :-) Anywhere you go, you will be surrounded by the old, 100% authentic houses, streets, and squares entirely made of stone. The Old Town is a magical labyrinth of ancient stone and serene silence. It has fantastic restaurants, great things to see, and plenty of things to do. The cultural heritage is phenomenal! Open air theaters, classical music in medieval churches, superb restaurants, and most incredible scenery and flavors that you can imagine!
The house is situated in the very centre of the town, in a calm and quite pedestrian zone, a few walking minutes from the town bay and the harbor. 450 years old stone house with some elements originating from Roman time. This old stone house tells stories of many generations, who have lived there, loved each other, raised children and laughed together. Our small family of artists has spent the last few years renovating the house to give back the olden and authentic charm. In order to minimize any intervention or change, only the indigenous materials were used, such as stone and wood, and the entire decor has been handpicked at the antiques shops. The house has 90m2 of housing space and 200m2 of private garden.
|Further details outdoors||
The private garden is quite specious (approx. 200m2) and has an open view to the local hills. One part of the garden has got a natural shade made of the wine grapes that protect you from sun and where one can spend hours reading books and enjoying life :)
