The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region

Hurghada lies on the Red Sea Riviera and was once a sleepy fishing village but in recent years has developed into one of the most popular resorts on the red sea.

With a flying time of around 4-5 hours from the UK,a time difference of only 1-2 hours and the year round sunny climate it has become an increasingly popular holiday destination.

Hurghada is well connected to Cairo and Luxor by air and road if you wish to visit the historic and famous sites of Egypt as well as the Sinai Peninsula which is linked by a short ferry journey, making it ideal for a 2-centre holiday if you wish. Hurghada is best known for it's impressive crystal blue waters and underwater reefs and is very popular with divers and water-lovers alike.

Hurghada / Magawish Village area

There is an impressive range of activities in and around Hurghada to cater for all. There are a number of well recognised golf-courses for golf enthusiasts which are affordable to all. Other activities include horse-riding, quad-biking and desert safaris to name a few. Titanic water park is a great day out for all the family and of course with a wealth of coast line water-sports are plentiful as are boat trips for diving and snorkelling.

The new SENZO MALL has recently opened, which offers a great range of international shops, Spinneys supermarket, one of the largest supermarket chains in Egypt and a great cinema showing upto date films. The senzo mall is only a short 5 minute drive from Villa Amirah and is great for an afternoon or evenings entertainment.

The opening of the new Hurghada Marina in June adds a luxury marina, with outside cafes, bars and restaurants and themed festivals.Hurghada has a truly cosmopolitan feel with a mix of boutiques and shops, modern supermarkets with a large choice of supplies, outdoor bazaars and international restaurants offering fantastic food at very reasonable prices and nightlife such as The MInistry of Sound, Hard Rock Cafe and Hed Kandi.

How to get there

Flights are available on a regular basis from most uk airports through out the year, usually running on mondays, tuesdays , thursdays and fridays with Easyjet, Thomas Cook, Thomson, VIKING and First Choice from London Gatwick...
Early booking is recommended as prices usually more reasonable.

The villa is furnished to a high standard and was completed in April 2008. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for all your catering needs, with added extras such as a coffee machine for fresh coffee. There is a breakfast bar area with stools as well as a dining area with table for a more formal feel. The lounge/kitchen area is open-plan, giving a feeling of space and light with a balcony which opens to the front of the property.

All bedrooms are well furnished with ample wardrobe/storing space, dressing tables,bedside lamps,hairdryers and some with balconies.

The villa is fully air-conditioned through-out as well as the pool area which is also equipped with a full music system suitable for use with i-pods and mp3 players for those all important pool parties!

The villa has a large outdoor courtyard area supplied with BBQ,outside furniture including parasol, extending table seating 8 people with chairs as well as sunloungers.

The large roof terrace has great sea views and has sunloungers for sunbathing.

Beach towels are also provided for pool use and sunbathing at the villa.

Dear Sarah, Julie and the Team,

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Hurghada, Egypt!

Well, what can I say? You guys have been absolutely fantastic!

We were not sure where to vacate to this year, by pure luck we found your villa information and decided this would be our 2009 holiday destination. We were very impressed with your service prior to our holiday i.e., the assistance for booking the villa, flights and all excursions, and that this excellent service not only continued but far exceeded our expectation when our Holiday commenced. On arrival at Hurghada we were met by the team who escorted and settled us at the villa. They discussed all our excursions in depth and provided much information. The villa was stunning with all the amenities and facilities that we required to make our holiday magical. We even named the local lizard “George” who provided much joy to us.

All excursions to all the great sites were well planned and managed, the personal drivers were fantastic and the tour guides provided were remarkable in terms of their knowledge of the sites and Egyptian cultures. The local centre accommodated for all our meal requirements even to the extent of providing meal requests not advertised on the menus




We stayed at Villa Amirah for one week in February 2009.
The villa is impressive in size and the deco is absolutely stunning. Very luxerious but still homey..
It was clear that everything was new, and we felt much better accommodated than we would have
in any hotel.

The downstairs Pool + Jacuzzi brings many fantastic nights just relaxing. We had a few problems
with the tempatures of both, but Julie and her husband came fast to our rescue anytime we needed
anything!!

The location is kind of remote, and we therefor recommend getting a fixed deal, or just a phone number
for a taxidriver that can come and pick you up anytime you need it.

We are deffinatly coming back next year!!!

From booking to the actual holiday, the availabilty of the owners in answering any queries that arose were prompt , efficient and very helpful. The management team apon arrival were a credit and our party all felt privileged to have met them,they worked tirelessly 100% to ensure our holiday was a wonderful adventure, being a large party with various ages all had a great time, no easy feat but they managed it perfectly! nothing was too much trouble.The villa was wonderful ,clean and airy and well equipped the pictures are as it is but in reality it is better, the pool and jucuzzi was well used and kept in pristine condition and must admit greatly missed apon our return. thank you for a wonderful holiday, we have no hesitation in returning at a later date, it was wonderful!!
