This is a large furnished ground floor holiday apartment with a communal pool, shared only with 7 other apartments, on the Red Sea Riviera and is the perfect base for a beach holiday, scuba diving, snorkelling, water sports, golf, (20 mins drive at the El Gouna Sheraton resort) and desert safaris, which can be arranged locally. Our apartment is well situated in a quiet area where you can easily get to the lively town of Hurghada (which represents excellent value for money) or the beautiful El Gouna. It has 2 bedrooms (with air conditioning), a bathroom and an en suite shower room, an open plan living space - kitchen area, dining area and TV lounge area (also with air conditioning) and 3 balconies with an alfresco dining area.
It is only 15 minutes taxi ride north from Hurghada airport and town, in the Moubarak 7 district, along the coastroad towards El Gouna, near the Palm Beach Resort Hotel. The apartment has landscaped gardens, the pool is less than 20m from our front steps, and Palm Beach is 15 mins walk. We have our own staff for our 8 apartments who will look after your needs: ordering taxis etc. There is a site manager, a 24 hour security person, housekeeper, and gardener. It boasts sea views from the roof terrace/solarium in an all year round warm sunny climate with a cooling sea breeze.
Whilst you are in Hurghada you could go in a submarine or on glass bottom boat trip to see the amazing fish by the Red sea coral, camel trekking, hot air ballooning or on a quad bike/jeep safari. Again see the site team, they can arrange it or if not take you to someone who will.

The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region
The Red Sea Riviera encompasses the entire Egyptian coastline of the Sinai Peninsula and stretches from the Gulf of Suez to the Sudanese Border. The warm waters of the Red Sea play host to an aquatic wonderland alive with colourful tropical fish and stunning marine life, or head inland to go sightseeing: Luxor- the Land of the Pharaohs is fascinating, travel by horse and cart to the Valley of the Kings; Cairo- the 7th Wonder of the Ancient World houses the famous artefacts of Tutankhamun, the Pyramids and the Sphyinx; or take a Felucca and cruise down the Nile. There are only two seasons: a mild winter with temperatures of 20-25 degrees and hot summers with cool sea breezes.
Hurghada area
Hurghada is a very Egyptian town which is split into 3 areas, and very cheap. The tourist area “Villages Road” has numerous, bars, nightclubs, restaurants, Hotels and beaches. It has a promenade area about 5 kms in length. All the big Restaurant groups are there. The prices for eating out are very reasonable here, even in the top restaurants. As an example, in Hard Rock Cafe, expect to only pay £10 per head including your drinks. Local restaurants are much cheaper. Tapas is 70p per plate. There is shop after shop, designer shops, jewellers, restaurants and snack bars are all found here. All cuisine tastes are catered for in the town centre and throughout Hurghada.
The Port has the ferry terminal for day trips to Sharm El Sheik (much more expensive than Hurghada)) 90 minutes away at around £30 for the round trip.
The old town areas Sigala and Dahar are culturally exciting to see how the Egyptians go about their every day life. Hurghada has some sandy beaches and in the distance you can see the mountains in the desert, and is renown for its crystal clear waters and scuba diving schools or snorkling trips that can be taken to the paradise Giftun Islands. For beginners there are shallow reef sites with an abundance of marine life on both hard and soft coral, for the more experienced diver there are several sunken shipwrecks to see and the chance to swim with morays and turtles. Other watersports include windsurfing, sailing, deep sea fishing, and kitesurfing is very popular.
El Gouna is 15 minutes away and it is truly an oasis, a gated town with a downtown area plus a beautiful marina, both of which have bars, restaurants and shops. The beaches there are the best in the region. The Egyptian people love their tourists and are very friendly in particular with the Europeans, they love to stop you and practice their English.
The Palm Beach Resort Hotel has the Aquarius dive centre and they will pick you up and drop you off at the end of the road 50m away.
A new marina has just opened with bars, restaurants and shops which is much closer than Villages Road or El Gouna.

There is an information book in the apartment where we have entered recommended restaurants and other useful information. Our staff will arrange for a taxi to collect, and then return for you at a pre arranged time. Hurghada is about £3, El Gouna is about £5.
Further details outdoors: Sun terrace has sunbeds, Balcony has patio table and chairs for ‘al fresco’ dining. There are souvenir shops, bars, restaurant heated pools and dive centre at the Hotel nearby. There is a frequent minibus (50p) service up and down the sea front.

Visa required which can be bought on arrival at the airport, current cost £10 and lasts 30 days. We request that clients purchase travel insurance to cover the activities they will be doing. We request that children can swim and are supervised at all times by the pool. The pool is 1m-1.5m deep and has a paddling area. The apartment is situated in the Moubarak 7 district of Hurghada and there is a lot of new development in the area. All you have to do is book the apartment and our team in Egypt will look after the rest, and make your holiday very relaxing whilst your there.

Please note it is against the law for unmarried Egyptians to stay in a room overnight with a person of the opposite sex. This law applies to European women staying with Egyptians they are not married to. This law does not apply to 2 unmarried Europeans.

Short-term lets are £250 per week or £475 a fortnight. This includes use of the pool, gardens, 24h security and other staff.
The balance payable in full 6 weeks before your holiday starts, plus £25 cleaning charge and a refundable £100 bond, (which will be returned within 2 weeks of your holiday less any charge for loss, breakage, excessive cleaning or damage).
Cot available £10 a week.
A basic welcome pack is available on arrival £12.
We will quote you for additional cleaning or ask you for your requirements for your holiday, this will of course affect your price per week, but this will be explained on enquiry.
We accept payment by cheque or bank transfer in GBP or Euros.

"Have just returned from an excellent fortnight's sun at Hathor apartment, (after a brilliant week doing Cairo and a Nile cruise, also organised through the owner) The apartment had everything we needed. We really enjoyed lazy days around the pool, shopping at cultural Hurghada and modern El Gouna, visiting different beaches and best of all snorkling by the coral reefs of Giftun Island.
