Ferry Terminal - With ferries going to Sharm el Sheikh 4 days a week. 10 mins stroll from apt.
Sakalla - downtown, where you will find the hustle and bustle of bazaars and busy nightlife with many bars and restaurants of all nationalities. 15 min stroll from apt.
Village Road - Tourist area has 5km promenade with hotels, Aqua Park, Hard Rock Cafe, Little Bhudda, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, Bowling Centre with pool and billiard tables and Submarine trips. 10 min taxi ride.
El Dahar - The old town area where you will find the normal Egyptian way of life and soak up the local atmosphere and hospitality.
El Gouna - Is a gated town, about 20 mins away by taxi, and has fabulous double Marinas, lakes, aquarium, shops and restaurants. As well as a challenging 18 hole golf course, horse riding, go karting and kite surfing.

We had a very nice time in this apartment. The surroundings are quiet and not at all like the resorts, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was close to the center. Response: Much appreciated, we like it when people arrive as guests and leave as good friends. |

This was my first visit to Egypt and as I booked last minute, most of the reasonably priced hotels in Hurghada were sold out. I realised that the only option within my budget was to book a self catering apartment instead. My initial phone call to request availability was dealt with in a professional but very friendly manner. On arrival in Hurghada it was dark, but I was met by the property agents who warmly welcomed me and drove me to the apartment where they assisted me with my luggage to my apartment. I was then taken to a nearby supermarket where I could stock up on food and drink for my weeks stay. My first impression of the building was 'wow' - I was not expecting a property as nice considering how little I paid. I was shown around the air conditioned apartment which consisted of a bathroom with a bathtub and hand held shower (towels provided), kitchenette (with utensils, cutlery, pots, microwave, big fridge), living room with couches, coffee table, satellite TV (with American channels), a small balcony and a bedroom which leads onto the main private balcony (with table and chairs). You can see the beautiful turquoise Red Sea from the balcony (above the part finished apartment buildings opposite - there was no noise construction noise when I was there). The immediate area around the apartment initially reminded me of Beirut in the 1980's, part finsihed apartment buildings everywhere, but the area was very safe and the locals were extremely friendly. The walk from the apartment complex to the main road (virtually opposite the Arabia Beach Hotel) took only 2 minutes and it was easy to hail one of the numerous taxis that whizzed up and down the road. The journey into the heart of Hurghada's tourist area (Sheraton Road McDonald's) took 5-7 minutes and only cost the equivalent of £3 (but be sure to agree price before getting into the taxi). All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this apartment and would not hesitate to use it again and recommend it to my friends. Response: Our aim is to make your stay a fond memory.
