Come and enjoy all year round sunshine at our luxury apartment on the Red Sea Riviera in Hurghada Egypt. We bought this apartment because the style and layout is just perfect for a large group of friends or divers or for two families, but is equally as suitable for just one family or couple who like lots of space.Low occupancy discount for 1 or 2 persons.The spacious ground floor apartment has 3 bedrooms, is air conditioned,set within a gated complex with 24-hour security in a quiet area and enjoys a shared swimming pool.
Your party will be met at Hurghada airport and returned there at the end of your holiday. This Free service is provided for your convenience.We can also organise your scuba diving, watersports and excursions to Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and Queens, Temples of Luxor and Karnac, the Colossus of Memnon ,Pyramids at Giza/Cairo or even a 3 day cruise down the Nile.
A small supermarket is located just outside the complex. The beach, many more shops and restaurants are a short 700 metre stroll away.

The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region

There is all year round sunshine with days that are warm or hot, and nights that tend to be cooler. Throughout the Red Sea Riviera humidity is almost non-existent, and constant breezes make the warm to hot temperatures more than bearable if not simply very pleasant during any period of the year. There are only two seasons: a mild winter from November to April and a hot summer from May to October.

Scuba Diving,Desert safaris, Quad Safaris, excursions to Luxor, Temple of Karnak, Valley of Kings and Queens, Cairo, Aswan and the pyramids at Giza can all be arranged for you. We can even arrange a 3 or 5 day cruise down the Nile for you. If you want to book these trips they can be booked through our friend who will pick you up from the airport on your arrival.

Hurghada area

Hurghada, the capital of the Red Sea was founded in the early 20th century,and until a few years ago it remained a small fishing village. Hurghada has now blossomed to become the foremost tourist resort of the Red Sea coast and an international centre for aquatic sports like windsurfing,kite boarding, sailing, deep-sea fishing, swimming, and above all snorkeling and scuba diving. The unique underwater gardens offshore are some of the finest in the world, justifiably famous amongst divers. The warm waters here are ideal for many varieties of rare fish and coral reefs, which may also be observed through glass bottom boats or a submarine. With its azure water and stunning mountain backdrop it offers all the ingredients for a perfect beach-based location
Hurghada provides a gateway to the prime diving sites throughout the Red Sea. Its central location provides favourable access to very famous dive sites. In addition Hurghada is unique for having access to so many uninhabited off shore reefs and islands. The quality of the reef is said to be surpassed only by the Great Barrier Reef. The area is also renowned for wreck diving such as the Thistlegorm.All levels of diving are catered for from basic training through to advanced technical dives. You can pre-book this through me if you wish. If there are members of your party who don't wish to dive, they are able to join you either to snorkel or just to take the boat trip. An excellent lunch is served on full day trips

Night Life: Many Restaurants, Bars and Shops, Small Pubs and Internet Cafes are to be found all over Hurghada. The most famous night clubs at the moment are”Ministry of Sound”, "Calypso" and "Papas Beach". If you like belly dancing, Arabic and Nubian folklore than you have to spend an evening at "Alf Leila Wa Leila" ("One thousand and one night"). It is a big open air arena, that offers a bit of everything.

How to get there

Be aware that flights get booked up for the summer season very quickly.
Fly to Hurghada or to Luxor or Cairo then to Hurghada.(There is also a daily bus between Cairo/Hurghada but this may make your jouney rather long. Contact me for further details) Direct flights from the UK can be booked online with www.airflights.co.uk ,www.travelrepublic.co.uk and easyjet.com. Another good website for available flights is http://www.charterflights.co.uk/flights/egypt/hurghada as well as www.cheapflights.co.uk. and You can also fly with www.ryanair.com to Berlin and then with www.airberlin.com to Hurghada. Also www.condor.com fly to Hurghada from Berlin.

For your convenience you will be met at Hurghada airport by a friend of ours who will transport you to our apartment and return you there at the end of the holiday. He can also arrange any diving or excursions to Luxor, Cairo Pyramids at Giza etc.you wish to make at a very reasonable price.

Our well equipped apartment comfortably sleeps 6 to 8 people +cot. It has 3 bedrooms, one with bathroom en suite. All bedrooms and living room have Air conditioning(hot or cold). Two of the bedrooms lead directly onto the patio. Each bedroom has large twin beds, which can be placed together or apart as you wish and a large bed settee in the living room converts to a king sized bed to sleep up to 2 more people. There is one more bathroom (shower, washbasin and toilet) and a cloakroom (washbasin and toilet only). Each toilet has bidet facilities.
A travel cot,high chair and baby buggy is provided at no extra charge. Please request them at the time of booking. The baby buggy also has a detachable parasol. Bedding for the travel cot is NOT provided.

The living room has seating for 6 people and there is a dining table and 6 chairs should you wish to eat in and a large terrace/patio is accessed from the living room where and there are 2 tables, a further 6 chairs and 4 sun loungers and a barbecue There is a satellite TV and DVD player in the living room. The DVD player will play your music CDs and MP3s
There is a hairdryer in each bedroom and ironing facilities are provided.
A safe is provided Free of charge.

We have a wheelchair ramp to negotiate 3 steps leading up to the apartment. In the en suite there is a grab rail at the side of the toilet and one at the side of the shower. We also have a raised toilet seat and shower stool. However we do not advertise the apartment as disabled friendly. Whilst children are welcome, the apartment has not been made 'child proof'.Parents should be aware that the pool is unsupervised and children and non-swimmers must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

The apartment is set in a gated community with 24 hour security.

Eating out is inexpensive. There is a small superarket directly outside the complex. Many restaurants and shops and beach are a short 10 minute walk away. Taxis and local buses stop nearby. They are abundant and very cheap. Sekala the old part of Hurghada is a short 5 minute bus journey where many more restaurants and shops can be found. Activities include World-class scuba diving, snorkeling, kite boarding,ten pin bowling, snooker, and desert safaris. An 18 hole USPGA golf course is located at El Gouna about 20km away. You can also visit Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, Temples of Luxor and Karnac, the Colossus of Memnon and take a trip to Cairo or a cruise down the Nile.
There is a wheelchair ramp into the apartment complex and we have a ramp to negotiate the 3 steps that lead up to the apartment entrance. Inside the apartment there is a grab rail next to the en suite toilet and shower. It is up to the individual to decide if these facilities will be sufficient for their needs.

Conditions

The price of the apartment is £550 per week for up to 6 persons.A large bed settee in the living room can sleep up to 2 more people at an extra charge of £50 per person per week.
We offer a low occupancy discount of £100 for occupancy by 1 or 2 persons (i.e. £450 per week rental)

Booking deposit
25% of the total rental fee is payable on booking. This is non-returnable in case of cancellation. If you pay by cheque confirmation of your booking will only be sent once the cheque has cleared.

Breakages/Damage Deposit
Guests will have to pay for any loss, damage or breakages that occur and they must be reported immediately to our agent.
A refundable security deposit of £250 is required 8 weeks before your departure,in case of loss, damage or excessive usage of utilities. This will be refunded 14 days after your return from holiday less any charge for any loss, breakages or damage

Payment terms
The balance of the total rental fee together with the Breakages/Damage Deposit is payable no later than 8 weeks prior to occupation. If the final balance is not received by this date then the booking will be treated as a cancellation and the booking deposit will not be refunded.

Cancellation charges
To cancel the entire holiday, the Party Leader must write to us, by recorded delivery at the address on your booking confirmation. Cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your letter.
The following cancellation charges apply:
More than 8 weeks (56 days) prior to arrival – 25% of the cost of your holiday
56 –29 days prior to arrival - 50% of the cost of your holiday
15 –28 days prior to arrival - 75% of the cost of your holiday
14 – 0 days prior to arrival -100%of the cost of your holiday
If you have to cancel for a reason covered by your insurance policy, you should be able to recover the cancellation charges. Claims must be made directly to the insurance company concerned.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to cancel your booking if the balance is not paid by the due date.
LIABILITY. We cannot accept, be responsible for or be liable in respect of loss, damage, changes or cancellations caused by major coups (i.e. strikes, floods, fire, closure of airports, terrorist attacks, political unrest, war or the threat of war, industrial disputes, technical difficulties, weather conditions) or any other events beyond our control. During your stay we do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects, however caused.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE. It is advised that this be contained within your travel/medical insurancePool Maintenance Very occasionally the pool has to be closed for maintenance. As it is a shared pool we have no control over this and are not notified in advance when this will occur. We therefore cannot accept any liability if your holiday is inconvenienced in this way. However Nobi, our manager, should be able to direct you to another pool you can use.

The apartment was spacious and clean and well positioned being close to the airport, close to a great beach and only a quick taxi ride into town. The person who 'comes with' the apartment is just superb - friendly and helpful and so welcoming. We were catered for brilliantly with our three young children and would definitely go back again.

We have spent a very good time. the place is very secure, the appartement is friendly, spacious. It's situated in a safe headquarter.
Children has spent good time with the swimming pool.

These holidays won't have been so great without Nobi. He is a very plaisant characters, he talks a good french, and give good advices.

Mrs cattel is a very professionnal Hostess.

Gorgeous apartment, beautifully decorated and spacious.
The owners are really lovely and helpful. Nobi is fabulous and will organise anything for you from an excursion to food shopping.
I am disabled and use a wheelchair and they all went out of their way to make the apartment accessible for me. They took the bathroom door off it's hinges, purchased a raised toilet seat, ramped the entrance, even borrowed a wheelchair from the local hospital for me during my stay.
Unfortunately the pool was out of action during our stay but we took a 15 min stroll to 'The Mariot' hotel where for a small fee we could use all their facilities for the day with a room thrown in (they have a heated pool).
Wonderful food (avoid 'The Bull') friendly locals, beautiful beaches.
Overall a lovely holiday

The flat was lovely, very spacious, smart and comfortable and the balcony was really nice.
Nobi was excellent and the services he provided first class. He made the holiday happen for us The new supermarket nearby was excellent. So cheap, always open and even got us some fruit and delivered it to the door G.S. Oct 2006

The apartment is wonderfully large and is very private and extremely clean and not in an overly commercial area. It is also near the shops where local people buy their food, so its very cheap to self-cater. We found the local people very welcoming and the owners of this apartment were also so helpful in setting it all up for us, with all the local information and hints about where to go and with a very gracious local agent too! It really made the experience so much more personal instead of being treated as yet another tourist. Its about a 10 minute walk to the beaches which are clean and very quiet. The area is slowly developing but I’m sure it will stay quiet for many years to come Maddie L Dec 2006
