"Perfect secluded accommodation with great access"
We recently took a 4 night stay at the Coach House and I can only say it's excellent.
Perfect decor, everything new, comfy beds, 2 good en-suite's, balcont off one of the rooms, dishwasher, washing machine, 2 couches etc etc etc. You can park right beside the barn which is handy.
We took our 2 daughters (16 and 8) and both loved it. There are horses nearby and chickens (with fresh eggs in the fridge on arrival). All the basic food items are there including a few bits if you arrive late and hungry. We also were treated to a beautiful loaf of fresh bread and wine in the fridge.
The family are polite but keep their distance for you to be as private as you wish.
There's great access from the M5 and getting to Taunton, Cheddar Gauge, Bath, Beaches etc were all easy.
We would definitely stay again and will recommend to friends.
Oh, and our black labrador was welcome which was a real treat for the whole family.

"Beautiful, good quality, family-friendly, great farm location"
We stayed at the coach house for 6 nights, and it was absolutely beautiful. The house is newly renovated, and easy to live in. Everything was squeaky clean. We are a family of 6, our kids are between the ages of 2 and 13. We felt very welcome, the owners had set us up with different foods and munchies, a written guide to the services in the nearby villages, lots of leaflets on sights to visit in the area, books to read, a big big kitchen for cooking our own meals, and were friendly and interested in the best way possible. The house is set on a farm, complete with horses (our teenage-daughter enjoyed this very much), dog, cats, chickens, tractors, the works. The surrounding area is beautiful, overlooking green pastures, old buildings, fields. Forest walks starting in the forest at the farm. There is a Tesco Express in North Petherton (5 min. drive), and a Morrisons and other shops in Bridgwater (12 min. drive). It was very easy to book, the owners were looking after us so well, and the atmosphere when staying at the property is relaxing, friendly, welcoming. We had an absolutely lovely time, and will try to come back again. The house is set up with wi-fi (a bit slow), tv and dvd-player, board games, books, washer, bbq, clothes line outside, outside furniture for 4 people, good quality fittings everywhere. Two ensuite double bedrooms, one with an extra single bed. The sofa-bed in the living room will do fine for kids. Everything you need is there, towels, kitchen towels, soaps, washing powder, tabs for the dishwasher. We used the house as a base for day trips to Stone Henge, Lyme Regis, Bath, Brean beach, Shepton Mallet, and for relaxing and doing nothing. We didn't get around to visiting any of the nearby gorges, or national parks also close by - but maybe next time. We can only say thank you, it was a pleasure.
