"fantastic house best holiday rental ever, and there's a hot tub!"
I stayed here with parents, new partner and children; not the easiest combination. The house absolutely made the holiday. Its large spacious layout and multiple spaces for relaxing, both indoors and out, meant that we could relax and enjoy our break, spend time together, in small groups, just the two of us or alone. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated with real luxury bedding and comfy beds, it seemed no expense was spared and the huge rolltop bath gave a feel of luxury hotel. The absolute icing on the cake was the newly installed hot tub, an added extra which made this holiday home even better than a home away from home. Top marks for a fabulously conceived holiday home, we will definitely be back
We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay. It's good to know the thought, time and energy we put into the property is appreciated and it's what people want. We look forward to welcoming you back.

"Relaxed spacious comfortable family holiday"
We'd been looking forward to a quiet break, coastal walks, pretty villages, time to relax together. Our family life is split between two countries, so time all together is precious. With two adults, two teenagers, and a younger child, having your 'own space' on holiday is essential, and Denmark House was ample enough to accommodate this with ease, while also having plenty of communal spaces which we could all relax in together. And with teenagers, wifi is also a must-have - we weren't disappointed - but happily they didn't spend the entire time 'plugged in' as there was so much to go and enjoy! As for the house itself: The bedrooms are beautiful, the kitchen excellently equipped, the sitting rooms comfortable and welcoming. The secluded garden is a proper suntrap, and the property overall has been so tastefully restored that we felt very spoilt. Not least by the generous welcome pack and cupcakes left by the owners! Position in the village couldn't be better - everything right on the doorstep. Getting out of the village and off to nearby locations like Filey, Scarborough, Flamborough, Whitby, York (to name just a few) is likewise very convenient. All in all, a truly lovely place which felt instantly like a very comfortable home from home! Will be back!
Thank you for your kind review. As a new company it's good to know we have got things right. We look forward to seeing you again.

"Family weekend break"
Denmark House is a beautiful newly renovated listed building. The house is packed full of character original features yet feels modern with all you need for modern living. The house has been fully equipped to a high standard and is the best we have ever rented. If you have children or young adults the smaller lounge is great with a TV PS3 DVD and games to entertain them. The house has a lovely walled garden and is safe for children and your dog to play in as well as a great area to BBQ. The beds are lovely and comfortable with quality bedding and towels. There is a village pub next door and a chip shop, Chinese takeaway, and good size village store just across the car park. We will definitely be back.
