The villa is ideal for family with active children,or someone wishing for a rural retreat, and is private enough for naturist's. Situated in the mountains, the property is rural but not isolated. The breathtaking views and relaxing ambience make it the perfect holiday getaway.A mobile beautician can be arranged to call to pamper you,and a sports masseur is on site to get rid of those aches and pains.Relax in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine and watch the shooting stars or try and count the stars in the milky way.You can even sleep on the roof terrace under the stars if you wish.For the more active the villa is set in11 acres of land with direct access onto mountain tracks,no main roads.Active children can go wild.For the horse mad there is a mare who will take you for a ride in a carriage,or take you on a picnic,or an evening outing to a local restaurant,driving back under the stars.There is a non ridable pony ideal for lots of love and cuddles.However please note that this location is
not suitable for unsupervised toddler.
The property is tastefully furnished and has a relaxing atmosphere,the accommodation is flexible and all the living space is on one level so can accommodate a wheelchair ,although access to the swimming pool is via wide steps. Just 25 mins to Heurcal Overa a lively Spanish town,good supermarkets and excellent market Mondays.45 mins to the beaches, which you can see from the house.

The Costa de Almeria region

Beautiful mountain scenery.Villa is at an altidude of1000mtre . on a clear day you can see the sea,wonderful clean air ,brilliant for star gazing.Temps in summer 35 to 40 degrees celsius,very little chance of rain.Velez Rubio typical small Spanish town,visit the castle at Velez Blanco . Great fiesta in July.Granada is only an hour and a half drive away with all the Moorish history you could want.Mojacar on the coast is the place for clubs bars and hectic night life,as well as good beaches during the day.

Huercal-Overa / Los Cabreras area

Heurcal Overa is a Spanish town,excellent market on Mondays,lots of good supermarkets,Good new theatre which stage a variety of shows suitable for all tastes.July and August is fiesta time in Spain it is possible to find a party going on every weekend in the area,everyone is made welcome.Los Cabreras is a very small farming hamlet and except when it holds its fiesta is very quiet.3km away is one of the best restaurants in the area,ex London chef who has opted out of the rat race,must be booked early.

How to get there

Airports at Alicante,Almeria,Murcia are all within one and a half hours drive, all on the autovia easy driving no toll roads, only last section is on well made country roads.All are serviced by the budget airlines.Local car hire Crown car hire and Costa Coches are normally cheaper but have to be booked well in advance.The airports also have all the main car hire firms.

The owners live on the same grounds, in an independent apartment in the cellar with its own access, so that the holiday makers can have complete privacy and independence. The owners are always on hand to offer assistance or advice on what there is to do in the area.
