Home description
We offer a choice of twin and double en suite rooms from just 55 euros per night. A larger family room is also available. All bedrooms are- en suite and we enjoy a very relaxed atmosphere.
The town centre is one minute away - so you have easy access to supermarket, bank, bars etc. The tourist information office is just 30 yds away. This is a great point from which to explore the area. The area is a walkers' paradise and also offers horse riding, cycling. North, south or west coasts are only about one hour drive.

The Brittany / Finistere region
Brittany has roughly the same climate as Jersey. Huelgoat is where the 600 hectare national park forest starts and goes through the centre of Brittany, most dedicated walkers start here. Also a 15 hectare lake is 30 yds from the b&b, you can walk round it. The lake can also be fished, a licence is available from a local shop. In the season bikes can be rented. Cyclists will adore the challenge of the surrounding countryside. The tourist information supplies all maps and routes for your days out and is 30 yds from the b&b.
Huelgoat area
Brittany’s vast shoreline makes up a third of the county’s coast, stretching out to France’s most westerly point. Distinctive craggy rocks frame hidden coves, and miles of quiet beaches offer an alternative to the bustle of southern coasts and make Brittany a popular destination amongst travellers of all nationalities, people here are renowned for their friendliness. The more remote western region is still visibly influenced by ancient Breton culture. Churches, cycling, horse riding, festivals, walking routes, all local.
How to get there
From the UK Exeter Airport to Brest Airport is 1 hour. Brest to Huelgoat is 55mins drive. Bristol airport flies to Dinard (ryanair) and is 2 hours 10 minutes from Huelgoat.
Europecar and many other hire companies cost about £120 per week hire.
Brittany Ferries land at Roscoff from different departure ports. 1 hour drive from port to Huelgoat. St Malo is another arrival port, but is 2 hours drive away from Huelgoat.
