The Central Thailand/Bangkok region

The drive is very nice passing seafood markets, salt fields, pineapple groves, and of course your modern day outlet malls.

Approx. 225 km south/west of Bangkok, Hua Hin is the oldest seaside resort town in Thailand. Typical daytime temperatures are 30-35 c, night time around 25c. Year round tourism, with a peak / high season in the dry months of November to April. Daylight hours from around 6.30am to around 6.30pm.

Hua Hin

Hua Hin is best described as small, clean, conservative, sleepy seaside resort.

Being only 2 to 3 hours drive from Bangkok, the towns offer a close retreat of sharp contrast to the hustle-and-bustle of Thailand's capital. Many hotels book-up due to the weekend travellers from Bangkok. Hua Hin has the added credibility of being the favoured resort of the Thai royal family; indeed the current king spends much of his time there.

Hua Hin is not only a main tourist attraction for tourists; many Thais love visiting Hua Hin. Much of Hua Hin's attraction lies in the town's charming old-world feel, best illustrated in Hua Hin Railway Station, Maruekhathaiyawan Palace, local fish markets, and Buddhist temples.

With over half a dozen courses dotted around the town, Hua Hin is a golfers' paradise and many just come to play day-in and day-out. All the courses are well maintained as one has come to expect in Thailand. The closest to the town is Royal Hua Hin Golf Course just behind the railway station in the town centre and was Thailand's first golf course. Others include, the Jack Nicklaus-designed Springfield Royal Country Club, Palm Hills, just 15 minutes from Hua Hin. Green fees are a real bargain and the fairways are never busy although weekends are more crowded.

"great vacation"

My wife and I stayed at the Pride for a month. The accommodation was first class.the staff delightful and the pool was the best we have seen.Very long, peaceful and a pleasure to look at as well being uncrowded. The free internet connection from the apartment is really good. The ground of the condos are very pleasant. A 15 minute walk gets you to the main thoroughfare of Hua Hin a further 15 minutes gets you to the excellent Village Market which is a modern large Shopping Mall on three floors.A 150 baht taxi or Tuk Tuk can be ordered via the Security Guard which will get you to the Centre in 10 minutes.there are eating establishments within 10 minutes walk of the condos. We will be back!!

"Best trip to date. I've already planned a return visit!!"

This was my second time to Thailand and specifically Hua Hin. Previously I stayed at a bed and breakfast and a hotel, but this time I wanted a more homey feeling and one that had a clothes washer and kitchen for an extended and more comfortable stay. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the GIGANTIC pool. It is the biggest pool I have ever seen! The property/unit was very well kept and the furnishings were a nice touch. The balcony overlooks the pool and an amazing sunset! Shops, restaurants, and bars are very close so everything is at your finger tips. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend! In fact I have already bought tickets for a return visit:).

Thank you for the positive review. The condo does offer that homey feeling and in-town at the same time. Look forward to having you stay with us again.

"A clean comfortable apartment with a massive pool. Payment was made easy using Paypal."

My wife and I with 3 children ages 9, 3 and 1 arrived at the The Pride entrance at 8.30 PM and the security guard telephoned Ms Tang who arrived 5 minutes later to give us the key and show us around the apartment. 1 hour later we were in a nearby Thai restaurant having food which started our holiday on a great note. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Next morning and for most of our 2 week stay we spent by the massive 90m pool which we had almost all to ourselves.
at the time of our stay there was one building completed with another having the inside fitted out but no people living in it. It was a quiet place with helpful security who would arrange a taxi or Tuk Tuk for you. We found the situation a bit out of the way buy it suited us to be in a quiet place with our young family. A one way Tuk Tuk to the beach cost us 150 Baht.
On the negative side- even though the pool was huge it was not very child friendly as my two youngest children could not touch the bottom. Also the concrete slabs that made up the pathways were dangerous and awkward for pushing a pram on (or Wheelchair). Some of them had some sharp rusty spikes sticking out of them. This should be a concern for the Developers in my opinion.

Andre: Thanks for the review. Your negative comments have been elevated to the developer. Cliff
